Client crash whenever Headless Mule comes into view range

As the title said, my client crashes whenever headless mule is on screen.

 

Never had such issue before.

 

Suggestions besides re-installing the game will be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Are you experiencing the error on RE:Start or Renewal client?

There was a report not long ago but from RE:Start, the user may had to do a reinstall to get the issue resolved.

Could a re-patch solve this issue? I rather not do re-installation.

Yes, a re-patch would solve the issue but that depends on when the sprite was re-released in the past and whether it was done in the past 2 years. If not, the force re-patch will take your patches all the way back to 2011, which at that point is useless and you're better off just re-installing the game. There are other ways but that can't be shared on the forums due to the involvement of unsupported third party applications.

Ah, that's interesting.

Had you ever experienced this at some time before or it's the first time you actually engage said mob?

 

The available Choobs selective repatch method which will take you to Feb 2017 is not working properly, I am afraid your only solution would be going for a reinstall using the available official client setup (Feb 2017).

I've not encountered this issue before, I was fine seeing headless mule in the lowTI after the July 26 maintenance last year.

Thanks for replying anyway, since re-patching method don't work anymore, I'll see what I can do with this.
