so it's either they should develop a game plan first before removing things mindlessly or we verify each item for assurance

I'd rather spend $1000 on this new ugly Dark knight set in RoM than spend it on iRO. This duping issue is just too dumb. Even OCPs are duped. Wait ... RoM also has add-ons cheaters and they seem to go unpunished. Rates in RoM are also very trashy to the point it's almost a scam rolf
The only thing iRO and RoM have in common is Gravity is a trash company. No one and new generations should ever play any games developed by Gravity

Mistakes can be made, it's actually what the ticket was about for me, during their time of verifying the items in my account, they had made a mistake by missing out on the fact that a GSC Card that was in an item of mine was duped.
They politely told me about it, let me finish my instance before taking action, communicated with me whilst removing it and restoring the zeny.
I then got ahold of another GSC carded version of the accessory from a guild member and they verified it within 6minutes of having opened the ticket.

also GMs being kind on a ticket is an after effect, treatment of something in a nice way is one thing. doesnt mean the act itself was not distasteful. that reasoning is sort of futile on a general setting and very selective in most if not all of the phases it goes through. evident that everything is on a case by case basis
so still, protect your items and protect yourself from scams, i have it if you really are innocent, then have yourself clean
imagine a person who never screenshots deals, turns out 80% of his items are duped. that being a worst case scenario

thats why i record and screen shot on my trading ever since i step on this game by migration , thats what the vmods usually says in case of this incidents but so far so good i didnt buy any dupes even now thank odins...

yesterday I also got mail from them that told me they cant do my request.
I'm not threatened them. I just told them what I think about my case.
I feel like they don't care about customer and I really stop playing the game for now.
then today I got my item back.I hope other people will have some luck also.

aunzoro, generally we advise against sharing a ticket response and handling on forums as there have been incidents of forgery in the past.
But for that one, do PM me the ticket numbers and a summery of your concern. The head of the GM staff may like to hear from you.

A GM dm me earlier in game, and said that he removed my +9 Abyss Dress on storage because it was duped. He then said, to check my email which I did. Upon looking at it, it states that I would get a refund of 4bil but I need to give all the names involved on that deal. Obviously, it's one of my alts. Hoping to get my refund and can find a legit abyss dress.

Exactly, sharing concerns is important be it on forums or through other acceptable means. It is that if they are being properly and thoroughly funneled to the correct department.
Last week I forwarded a couple concerns not necessarily dupe related to a designated staff, they expressed complete understanding and possible means to improve a ticket handling.
Goal is to address a ticket as soon as possible, though it was made clear some tickets may require a specialist's say whom may not be present at the office at a given time or date.
To not drift further from the OP, if there is ticket shenanigans on the run PM me its number ASAP and I will add a WP staff to investigate.

It's the logical way to do it. It sucks but it's honestly no good which ever way they do it.
Item value is subjective. What is worth 4b now will not likely be worth that in a years time. Case and point, if you had a Samurai Spectre Card trade from pre OCP, you most likely paid 15~20b+ for one. If it got reversed now, you would be able to get 2x SS Cards for the hell of it.
It just so happens you got the raw end of the inflative deal. And while they could make a brand new item just for you, it could encourage more people to force this option and then be subject to intentful deceit.
It certainly does suck, but not so much financially but for that damage in the trust we (or at least I) have had in the integrity of the system. The dupers seem to not just do high priced items but also lower end items such as ring of ifrit, ring of resonance, or hurricane axes. I've had these purchased items disappear or at least I can't find them on chars or storages or carts. Or at least I would frantically search thru my alt chars and storages and carts wondering where I misplaced them only to find them missing. The money seems the same, so they were simply deleted. In one case, my character and its levels feels changed as if they were rolled back to easily correct the situation. But it seemed too abrupt to me since the rollback caused the char to revert back to the lower class. Is it all my imagination? I can't tell. I come in to RO for a brief respite when I'm tired. So when things disappear from alt chars, it feels like an evil ghost is deleting bits of my trust in the system. There's no notice, no RodEX message of "your purchase of was a dupe and was deleted AND you were not compensated the zeny/kafrashop amount because your char was rolled back."
Warpportal, stop toying with my memory of whether items existed or not. It feels like warpportal doesn't notify the player of unilateral item deletions in hopes the players that don't notice won't ever find out. If the player doesn't notice the zeny missing, then there was no harm! If the player doesn't notice the items missing, then there was no harm! Someone was told by a GM that deleting the item was better than banning the char with that item. I suppose that is why we must accept such deletions. It's annoying to be thought of as a cheater and banned for it. It would be even worse if that player was banned despite never being a cheater but instead was a longtime hater of bots who reported bots year after year. And it would be the tragic irony if such a player remained behind for the love of Ragnarok Online despite their guild deciding to quit the server over the incessant cheating. Jambalaugi, come back.
There is no good solution. The fairest solution, unfortunately, requires both the cheating and cheated players to feel pain. It's why the players should also stop supporting botters and cheaters and report any of them they see. Far too many players have a cynical smile as they benefit from botters collecting materials for them, but then those same players complain if items disappear because they are cheated items.

The only real solution to this problem is to fix the loophole that makes duping possible, from software development point of view it is a security bug. But oh well it means they have to pay programmers to write code, which is why its not happening.

They should be contacting the users now incase an item is removed due to dupe.
