This update will be implemented on 2/25/2019 to Sakray.

The following changes are applied to Sakray.

 

Wedding System Update

  • Dorams may now marry.
  • Dorams may now be adopted.
  • Marriages are no longer gender locked.
  • Ninjas may now be adopted
  • Gunslingers may now be adopted
  • Tae Kwon masters may now be adopted
  • Baby characters may now file for emancipation from their parents.

Gear Swap System

 

Guild Storage System is applied

Dorams becomes Doram Race

Items are updated to affect Doram.

Normans becomes Norman Race

Items are updated to affect Normans

 

 

2/28/2019 - Sakray is live

3/01/2019 - The guild issue is fixed on Sakray.

 

All guilds created since last night have been deleted to prevent issues where characters were in two different guilds. Guild positions and tax can be set again, and the guild storage system is now active.

 

We defaulted all positions to have NO storage access so until a guild leader updates it no one will have access(it was felt that this would be the ideal choice so guild can actively control their security).

  • Baby characters may now file for emancipation from their parents.

     

    if this happens, 

1. does the baby stay as baby char ? or grown ups ?

2. will the parent be able to adopt another child ?

At least Bellum series should affect them AFAIK.

 

I know of Bellum and WoE Sets, but wanna know what else, to see if my Doram should be deleted or not.

as you are on that, why not fix valkyrie knife so they work properly on pvp and woe, i kind of need it :), and as you are going to add the RC for every gear, why not on that.

 

PD it work on pvm but it doesnt work on pvp

This doram/norman crap is confusing.

So, brute stuff won't work on doram anymore?

Demi-human stuff stop working on players too?

Or do both doram/players count as demi?

Demi-human gear will affect:

  • Demi-human monsters
  • Norman players

(No end user change has been made at the moment, RC_Player has been renamed to RC_Norman)

Brute gear will affect:

  • Brute monsters
  • Doram players

(Doram has been seperated from RC_Brute and is now RC_Doram)

Player gear will affect:

  • Norman players
  • Doram players

(The only kRO side Player gear released at the moment is WoE ___ armors, Bellum ___ weapons and TE ___ gears).

 

In the future there may be gear that specifically only affects Norman or Doram races, but at the moment there shouldn't be.

In kRO fashion, clarification is not clarification at all because clarification would be doing the correct thing and just separating the lines for each race in the descriptions.

 

But kROs gonna do what kROs gonna do.

what i'm sort of still puzzled about is how it will affect in application, mostly on the variation of how separate those four will be

 

example is for TE, lets say one person is wearing a cat ear beret and 2 TE rings. TE rings affect player race and cat ear beret affects demi human race

 

so in terms of application (on a defensive stance of the items);

 

+12 Cat Ear Beret = 16% Demi Human reduction

2 TE Rings = 10% Player reduction

 

is it going to be;

 

1. separate (does not stack)

 

result = 16% Demi Human Reduction & 10% Player reduction

 

or

 

2. additive (stacks)

 

result = 26% Demi Human (as a sub-type) Player (as a main type) reduction

 

as this will greatly affect how stacking reductions in certain areas of the game would be

Think like how AK Cards give Atk%, but only on boss monsters, but it is still Atk%.

Wait, they're finally making this official? Well, either way, iRO has localized the race as Human for years, so in keeping with the localization, shouldn't it still be Human for us? That's gonna be a lot of quest texts and item descriptions to retrofit.

Obviously they never intended to add new races for players. How times have changed.

Guild Storage is guild skill. Prerequisite skills are Cold Heart lv. 1, Sharp Gaze lv.1, Battle Command lv. 1, Urgent Call lv.1 and Guild Extension lv. 10.

Guild Storage has 5 level. Each level increases storage capacity by 100.

Guild master can manage guild storage accessibility via guild position. Only 1 player can use guild storage at the same time.

Item movement log will be record on guild window.

I assume most people are curious if you can use guild storage to circumvent account-bound gear, like KVM.
