I’m not saying I’m against OCP’s I do like them and it’s the source of money for the server. The problem that I was addressing was the constant updates and efforts towards ocp’s and leaving updates forgotten.

If WP can make some kind of poll/survey/community voices for the current state of our server, how we wish for better updates and send over to kro.
Something about showing how the community been crying for years to catch up with the other server and latest updates,
i'm sure they are willing to hear us out.

I do believe this could be one of the best things to be done, if I’m not mistaken something similar was brought up before but I don’t think the idea went through.

I'm bringing this topic up due what it seems to be a money run from warpportal with their OCP`s, while they apparently completely ignore any updates in the game, trying to keep players through events of bonus EXP and Drop, and leaving aside the progress that has to be made in game.

Looking at any successful company in the market today we see that the tendency is to follow customer needs/ what they want, and seems that iRO has been going towards the complete opposite direction. Incomplete actualization's and episodes, a lack of progress towards incoming episodes seems to be something usual now.

This is a list provided by warpportal looking at promised deliverable in 2018 last edited 3/19/2018

Fortunately only the major content updates are considered.. well major content updates. We are also requesting smaller updates to the game itself not in terms of content but game systems as well. We've requested the following games systems from the studio to be delivered throughout the year in 2018.

Needless to say 16.2 missing major parts of the episode, Nightmare OGH and many of those if not all haven't even been delivered now, towards the end of February 2019, while even bRO already got Nightmare OGH.
I would like to ask for a positioning from the staff towards this money run and lack of effort towards updates in the game.

We have shared the March Calendar here: https://forums.warpp...-faq-friday-31/. Unfortunately for circumstances beyond our control in 2018 we were unable to receive many of those small updates. Currently were working on combining them with bigger updates or into bigger update packages.

We have started testing the following on Sakray,

Guild Warehouse
Marriage Update
Gear Swap System
 

The goal is to implement them on 3/14. After that we will begin preparing the Illusion of Frozen update along with some party UI changes that are on that list. Unfortunately 2018 has taught us that releasing a year out road map does not work as the studio has to react to changing needs of the various RO partners. Instead we are currently planning 2-3 months ahead at a time so that we can be sure we get what updates we are promised.

I don't know why Gravity is so reluctant to allow publishers to bring quality of life and content updates to its servers as soon as it is released in Korea or Japan. What makes me angry with this company, is that they don't make Ragnarok Online a game with no distinction between the first server and the last server. It's not like other games like MapleStory, which you see the updates in Korea and can rest assure that it will happen in North America servers soon (6 months or so). In Ragnarok Online we can't predict that, because every f***ing update can be bring to us in a large time (2-5 years)!

 

I just want to know why.

Why is it so difficult to make this game enjoyable? Why is it so hard to negotiate? Why is it so hard to even TALK to Gravity?

 

Don't get me wrong, Campitor. I know you and the team do everything you can, but the situation with the development is just awful.

1- possible bring us explorer order event to IRO? same is on the BRO.

2- Do you have some action plan to bring new players to the server

 

 

please answer honestly even if the answer is negative!

 

understand, we prefer a no, than a false promise or lies, more than 50% of the community are adults and we understand when it is not possible to bring something!
