Hey all.

 

My friend and I recently got back into this game somewhat casually. We managed to lvl up several characters using the Jump event that happened abit ago. And thats where my own problems arise.

 

I have several characters.

 

99/70 Lord knight - summoner - High wizard - Biochemist - stalker - sniper - Super Novice 99/1 rebellion and a low lvl Acolyte on one account and a 99/70 Mastersmith and 99/1 Paladin on another account.

 

Got all these during the event. And thus literally none of them have any Gear,. Some of them (randomly I might add) got eden equipment. Some did not. Farming money isn't that bad but mainly where are some good places I can go to get some gear so I can start pushing higher content and try for my 3rd jobs.

 

Going and doing lower lvl  areas is fine as well. I know Imma need to with the gear shortage.

 

Also even tho I have ways of farming zeny are there any areas you all might recommend?

 

Also. I found that these boosted characters cannot do the quests in eden group for any of the gear upgrades. I tried. Not a single NPC in that area has a useful quest for me.

You should be able to get the last set of Eden gear from Ur, have you tried it?

Unfortunatly Getting to the ice cave. let alone doing the quest there won't be possible for most of my characters as they have no gear to survive the area.

Eden Group gear quests have level requirements, I believe. So if you're overleveled, you can't start them. And getting the higher level gears require you to have done the quests for the lower level gears. Sorry to say you missed out on free gears by choosing to level via Jumping event. You could always start over, going from 1-99 is pretty easy anyways.

Getting Ur's equipment for levels 90-99 does not have any dependencies on anything. You get the most if not all out of the first eden gear sets Boya gives via Janeway.

Ah, didn't know Jumping gives out the gears. In that case, it's rather confusing that the player is unable to acquire the gears.

There are a few characters. Like my gunslinger who never got any gear while lvling. Thx for the help tho. Guess I'll have to find ways in getting my under gears characters to the ice caves to do the quest for Ur. My lord knight had some difficulty doing it and she is my best geared character and has all that healing and defence. Iono how a high wizards suppose to even get there without a party.

Well, you always have the option to level up elsewhere and do the quest later. People have been able to get by without Eden Group for years before it got implemented. It'll be hard, but not impossible.

Yeah you can always go for gear alternatives, if you're really starting out it would be nice to dust up on studying the starter gears and cards that would benefit you with the least cost.

 

When I was dirt poor, I started with a Pupa Carded Cotton Shirt that was enchanted via starter quest with the 150 HP and 50 SP and whatever weapon there was that I can buy from an NPC for my class. Weapon continuity entirely depends on your budget, but some neat weapons looted from ET that are sold once in a while isn't bad. I think I started with a TSOD or Lich Bane something wand after using this thing I bought at Lighthalzen. As far as progression goes, Vali's Manteau (I think you can go for a harpy card too? Idk now) as well as Variant Shoes for example were what I started with for garment and shoe slots. Funny I bought KP for Color change and I think a cute headgear lol!

 

My accessories by default comprised of the spiritual rings. There should be specialized cards for certain skills that you may choose to utilize, Imp cards used to be neatly priced so I used that on my sage, carding them in a clip I think. I rolled with a guard for so long, then a valk shield with hodremlin card in it.

 

Shadow gears weren't a priority for me before but the roaches roaming around town give you the simple ones that add stats, so that's always an option especially if you value having shadow gears on early stages.

To your character with 70 job level, get the reward  from "achievement" its 4m each just vend it. 

Now we have already a 15k shared on this event, you can sent your HWizard to hunt low level monster with  expensive card.
