Looking to the moderators or GM staff on this one:

 

I know with the new marriage system changes (Same sex, dorams, etc.) there was a brief bullet on how children can now become emancipated.  My question is how does this process actually work?

 

On the adoption iRO wiki it states that adoptions can be reversed with a ticket and under certain circumstances but I am under the impression with the bullet that there is a method through the NPCs in game now.  I asked on the original thread and I never got any response on it.

 

If I have a baby character that I want to reverse adoption on what will happen?  do they regain their ability to stat normally, do they they regain their lost HP/SP%?  For all intents and purposes, do they go back to being as normal as a character as if they weren't adopted?

Step 1. Go to /navi prt_in 282/172
Step 2. Talk to inform family relations and inquire about family separation
 
After character has been adopted for I believe it is 100 days it's free iirc. Before 100 days there's some sorta ticket or something you need, but not sure if it is actually possible to obtain.
You should basically just become a normal character once again. So you should lose all child skills and get back the hp/sp, and stats etc. But ofcourse if the baby is a 3rd class they still lost their ability to trans forever.
It sends a letter in ROdex to the parents/child about the emancipation, I find that part pretty interesting, lol.

The ticket/stamp (Independence Certificate) is available in-game, it is missing the proper sprite but it should function accordingly.

Do note though, certificate seller (Wedding Present) is overlapping with existing NPC Dinorah Lacostt at prt_in (285,167), by slowly adjusting the camera's angle it should be possible to interact with the hidden NPC.

Thank you guys for the responses.  Asking because if it is possible to level a character to 99/50 with a family and then emancipate it at 99/50 in order to trans to a 1/1 easier.  Granted it's pretty fast just to go through bounty boards normally also but at least at this rate it's more encouraging for couples to make new characters that need to be trans.

 

Would be great idea for 99/70 trans crafting classes like White smiths and bio chems.
