Hey, I got back into the game around a month ago after not playing for ages. I came back for the nostalgia and was only playing very casually, but over a month later I'm still here so I figured it's time to take the game a little bit more seriously.
I've been leveling a Ranger (not quite there yet, still 93/55 sniper) and building him as Auto Warg Crit build since that sounded fun and AGI/ASPD builds are usually the safest and cheapest to play. Now that the bonus XP event is gone, leveling is taking forever. Still wanna be AWC in the end, but I'm looking at resetting when I get max level (or close to) and leveling as something else. From poking around I think Arrow Storm is the way to go for leveling, but I don't know how viable that is for someone with almost no money (for consumables, gear, special arrows, whatever else). Right now I'm sitting at 1/90/20/1/90/30 stats (STR/AGI/VIT/INT/DEX/LUK), with Eden gear plus Ring of Resonance and Ring of the Flame Lord. Would it be viable to pivot towards an AS build for leveling? Is that build any good for someone that doesn't really have a lot of money to spare? Looking at the irowiki, I can still swap to the Hybrid build (1/100+/60/90/110+/120). Is that any good?
As far as gear goes, I have an Autumn Headband for whenever I can use it and have been looking for a +7 Battle Surcoat + Cenere Card (which I guess wouldn't really help anymore if I go AS). I've got a little under 100M to spend. Is there any cheap equipment worth getting or should I just save up for the big pieces?
I've also been struggling a little bit with leveling and could use a few recommendations for this particular class/build. I usually go for the leveling spots on the wiki, but I can never handle the ones recommended for my level and always have to go for the ones in the bracket below. On top of that, how would I play as AS build? Do I just mob stuff up and then AS? Wouldn't I get hit while casting? Do I need consumables for healing or recovering SP? I have an AB on a second account that I can use to buff me if that's of any help.
I have so many questions lol All the guides out there focus on the most efficient/best strategies and equipment, but I can't find barely anything for noobs or casuals.
