Is there any compensation for players in Classic Servers? Why don't just migrate them in the Renewal Servers? Just a suggestion.

why not merge classic with chaos so everyones hard work doesnt go to waste?

 
 

short answer: infinite technical issues reasons
 
long answer: if you made use of all these stufd over the years,it wasnt a waste, you enjoyed it while it lasted. Also infinite technical issues reasons.

 

Also, you'd think that people who played Classic instead of Renewal did so because it wasn't Renewal? lol
Classic was a start over, if anyone was attached to their stuff they'd have stayed on the main servers after renewal came.

I thought about updating server to renewal version then merge to either Chaos or Thor is better solution.
But I realized that there's a problem. Some exclusive classic items use the mutual ID with renewal OCP, make this issue more complicated.

Classic's limited amount of ID creation makes so that item IDs are all over the place, and it is just not feasible to do a transfer.

You think Loki items can take on renewal? Not by a longshot. Theyre better off getting +11 gset and some x refined woe set + a maxed out char than a +10 ghost mink coat

Gods and MVPs is another matter and as for reference THOR DIDNT BRING ANY

I'm all up for giving out literally hundreds of BMs,Gums,buff scrolls, whatever you name it(account bound), based on the person account progress so that they have a much much smoother start over in terms of levelig and farming. Just dont introduce a flood of items to a server that werent there before

A friend of mine who is also an old phRO veteran told me once that when they were migrated, their god items and mvp cards were forcefully exchanged into just 1 week vip for each item lol
So atleast we won't need to worry about an influx of those stuff.

Nonetheless, I agree that if these classic players want to continue playing ro even if it's on renewal then they atleast deserve help getting themselves set up in any of the other servers that they wanna transfer to.

I have some characters in classic but ever since I bought a new pc my classic graphics have been awful there are black square dots all over. and besides its kinda rotten game system questings are horrible there lots of undeletable logs.

I can't say for sure
My friend said they were immediately applied after the migrate, so he wasn't able to make use of it because he temporarily quit, and it just ran out before he came back. Lol
