First, Doram class is not allow to access the kafra storage next to the receptionist when signing up for the tournament.  Secondly if a monster is killed with Scar of Tarou it can die but it doesn't register to the instance the monster died... resulting in a bugged instance that you can not move passed.

The GMT instance has had bugs in the past and I dont think they were ever fixed, so I aint quite optimistic that it will happen in future.

Kafra per location has to be manually adjusted to read Doram, one at a time.. this is as far as I can tell.
As for the opponent not registering due to dying from a ticking debuff, a known issue and is not limited to Doram class.

 

Both bugs have been reported numerous of times, there's yet to be a proper fix for either of them. The former should be easier to attend however.

Update:

Geffen Magic Tournament Kafra Service will now allow Doram class to open storage.
