Well, I retrieved my old account from July 2009 yesterday when the servers were merging (which I did not have an idea that it was yesterday). I redownloaded RO and was able to login with my old account, but once I click on the character the "Disconnected from Server" box pops up. Does that mean that my characters were not merged yesterday? Is there anyway that this can be fixed.

Re:Start server merger should not then apply to your account seeing the date provided.

If you are getting instantly disconnected after choosing the character then the first thing that comes to mind is outdated client or improper patching.

 

Please make sure your client is the latest release, also make sure you are running the patcher as an admin. You can get the latest client setup from the following link:

I can't put into words how great it feels loading into renewal with all my god item pieces removed and 0 chance of getting a god item because all these guilds running around with a decade+ worth of god items/mvp cards will completely police WOE.  It sure feels great knowing the GM Team/admins here decided to invalidate our months n months of WOEing after their cash grab server they created failed as a result of their own poor decisions.  I sure feel motivated to buy VIP/KP and continue playing, certainly feel like my time n efforts were greatly respected.
