Hello,

:p_laugh:

I recently re-downloaded Ragnarok from steam. uwu

While going through the files out of curiosity i noticed a bunch of notepad files.

So me being the nosy person I am I processed to open it. Now this one was title Notice_Patch, I assumed it was a nice little notepad the GMs updated between each new event.

When I opened up this file and started reading i thought to be correct.

This is what it said:

We would like to announce an increased experience weekend for

all servers! Chaos/Loki/Iris will have 2x normal xp, and Sakray
will have 3x of the regular servers` experience. This experience
event will begin Friday August 19th, 2005 10am, and will run
through maintenance on Tuesday August 23rd, 2005.

We will require a short server maintenance for all servers to
begin the event at 10am on Friday. We sincerely hope you all
enjoy this event and take the opportunity to level.

Thank you,
iRO GM Team
Gravity Interactive, LLC.

Thennnnnnnnnn I read a little higher:
[Updated 08.17.2005]

OOF! this note goes even further back to 2004.  :hmm:

My question is why are there so many useless files in the RO client folder when we download the game?

There is so much more things like this. I'd like to just clean house but i'm to afraid to delete something important! :help:

I was really looking to see a way to prevent memory leak as this happens very often so I constantly close and reopen RO.

Before someone mocks my computer and calls it a toaster due to memory leaks and FPS drops, here are my specs:

PU: Intel Core i7K 8700K GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti with 11GB GDDR5X Memory: 32GB Dual Channel DDR4 at 2667MHz HDD: 512GB SSD + 1TB 7200 RPM SATA

Was built just last year.
:p_hi:                                                                                                     :p_hi:

Anyways if anyone knows the answers and solutions please let me know.

There is a reported FPS bug when ran through Steam client. To quickly solve this, launch the game directly from the folder.

You can disregard the outdated file, it should cause no issue though I'd suggest to not delete such files even if they are no longer in use.
