I have Magni's Cap. It already has STR +2 on its own. Its set bonus with Stone Buckler and Odin's Blessing gives another STR +2. Which makes STR +4. Is STR +4 any good? Does it really up your ATK by a significant amount?

The full set bonus is STR +2, DEF +5 and MDEF +5. Worth using the set? I'm asking cause I have +7 Magni's Cap and +7 Stone Buckler. The set bonus feels weak. Feel like selling them. Want you guys' opinion.

Consider applying for Training at the Eden Group HQ for some decent equipment
check the link below for details

Basic rule of thumb for this game is that unless it comes from the cash shop or OCP, don't bother.

On a general note, +4 STR probably doesn't make a lot of difference.

But if you're using skills that have STR in its formula, or need a teeny weeny bit more dmg to 1HKO, then it makes a lot of difference. But overall, its just 4 STR, its not like its +40 or +80 STR (Stares at other gears)

I think we aren’t starting this with the right approach.

Let’s start with the strength stat first:

https://irowiki.org/wiki/Stats#STR

Here’s what strength will do for you. Let’s go off that first, next, one of the bonuses that made Magni’s Set shine during that era was the Defense Boost, what it gave was nice during Pre-renewal but things changed. Let’s look at DEF too as it is also a small part of the early game that helps. (Eden set early on provides like 80 and that’s a good physical damage reduction, so)

https://irowiki.org/wiki/DEF#Hard_DEF

You don’t have to calculate but you can at least look at the chart and see how much Hard DEF you got and see how much reduction you get based on the graph.

With that you should get an idea of what your set provides overall.

Next: Eden group equipment, assuming you are above level 65:

https://irowiki.org/...nsion_Quests.29

These quests provide decent equipment, overall may not provide strength but small bonuses such as HP and sp recovery, neutral reduction on the garment and some +HP/SP and I think +1 str dex agi vit (in the armor and the Boots) as well as a very good chunk of DEF and at least +5 MDEF from the Eden group armor sooooo,

I just wanted to provide the information and start from the bottom to understand how effective the set can be in Renewal.

I don’t like to just throw answers but I hope that if you read through this and understand the approach I’m trying to use here you can apply it to further questions you might have and find the answer that best suits your needs. In fact if you have more questions take the time and ask. I hope this helped! (And yah I think the Eden set is great, you can at least keep the shield it isn’t bad, but you won’t have an armor with a slot but I think I can eventually replace the Eden armor with something much much better! But you could probably keep the odin’s Blessing. Maybe. Cause it’s also really heavy lol.)
