Hi I recently got my first homunculus S and it's been a pain in the @$$ to level.

It's currently 102 and I've spent an entire week at ant hell.

It still has not learned a new skill. I have 16 skill points to use so this is annoying how no new ability has come up yet.

Does anyone know of the levels when your new homunculus starts to learn its first ability because at this rate its just honestly not worth all this time i have to spend afk vs actually playing the damn game.

Click on the skill and it’ll tell you the pre-requisite which appears to just be a level. Hope this helps

yeah it's pain in the 4ss to level up homunculus s, especially amistr to sera, till i got the poison mist on level 116, i think it tooks more than 3 months worth of afking in OD2 (on and off though, not 24/7)

Whats better OD2 or Ant Hell?

Wow i have to wait until 105 before it gets her first skill? This seems beyond not worth it. I don't get to play the actual game at all.

Anyone know of a faster way to level this?

 

I need 90 MILLION more exp to get pain killer.

Not 100% needed to be tanky for OD2, can use invisibility strats.

OD2 is also much better exp. Only time I could possibly see it being worse than Ant Hell would be if there are not many people on the map since OD2 needs that to have a good mob flow.

But even that is stretching it. At that homun level eggs are surely 1-shot and respawn really slowly.

If you don’t mind me asking, what do you use for gears? You could probably get some exp on the será while killing monsters if you are doing some boards, over time it’ll gain exp. AFK seems for when you are not active or can’t be on the PC the whole time and ya wanna get some exp.

I encourage you to do bounty boards and have the Sera fight too maybe you can level and get exp at the same time. Better than just AFKing imo.

you really need to have AzzyAI installed if you don't already, but secondly you really need to get in-depth with the options menu called AzzyAIConfig. that file, when you open it, is basically like the brain of the homunculus. you can get very specific with it if you have the time to sit down and learn which commands do what. essentially it controls all movement/attack/features/skill usage of the hom, monster priority lists, hp/sp conservation... all of it.

you just really have to take time to learn it because it can be confusing at first. i'd rather teach someone to fish than giving them one, but if it comes down to it and you still can't figure out a proper build setup just pm me your base/S-class hom and i'll pre-set you a file which you can replace the old one with.

but please actually try to get familiar with it first, because what you learn on your own is quite useful in the future~

FYI - Sunken Ship Lvl 1 is another good spot for leveling and the respawn is very quick.
