Hello everyone, well, I'm new player, by the time that i'm having playing in the game I have a GX, a hunter and a blacksmith. My main character is the GX and my gears are not very strong.

 

The thing is that I'm a bit frustrated leveling up and making zeny, my GX is level 100 but I cannot level up more, I'm trying to past to 100 with kobolds and in Nogg 1 and 2 (using Rolling cutter), or trying to reach mora to get coins and gear, but I got rekt in the maps, and I lost almost all my exp because dying, I use Fresh Fish for healing and I have a Scatleton pet to boost the heals, but leveling up is very slowly.

 

For the zeny making I farm 5 crimson dagger from Sleepers and like 60 Oridecon (farming for a week like 5-6 hours because I study), trying to upgrade them to +7 or +8 to exchange it for +7 certificates to trade for zeny, but almost all the time in +6 it finish destroyed. Failing making zeny.

 

Some guides say to farm properly in Nogg is using a Pasana Card (20M) and Hunter Fly Cards (80M), Thanatos Katar (30M) but I have not funds to buy it, neither I want to pay with real money for ocp or Heroic Backpack or rideword hat or VIP status, maybe later but not now.

 

I don't know if instead of my GX I have better use my Hunter to reach Ranger, people says that is easier for killing mobs and leveling up quickly, but I don't know if is a good idea because of my little funds.

 

Someone has helpful tips to making zeny and leveling up properly? I asked to some people but for them is easier to say "do something like..." because they have good equips and also I'm like to do things soloing. Thanks in advance and I apologize for my english, isn't very good because I speak in spanish.

Hi, my gears on my GX currently are:

• +5 Crimson Katar (Neutral)
• Variant Shoes
• Silent Executioner
• +4 Morrigane Helm
• Green Apple Ring
• Eden Group Manteau II
• Eden Group Armor
• Morrigane Pendant

Everything without cards.

 

And for costumes: Tarnished Lamp and the Shadow Set (Dropped for Mysterious Bug) +4

my bet... try leveling up first (maybe level 150) then zeny comes next from farming instances. if certain maps keeps you from dying try another map an easier one. if you cannot do it alone try being friendly and play with party or with friends

Have you tried https://irowiki.org/...i/Sara's_Memory instance? it's dropped some food you can sell, save the Green salad and spicy bao, because it's for quest and you can sell more than npc price, but don't mob too much monster because you don't have leeching gear yet.

 

You can try to farm Drosera tentacle at south of veins it's worth more than 55k and isn't hard to get.

For early level try avoid playing with rng, you just lost 12 m there for nothing and if i'm not mistaken you didn't have mastersmith right? upgrading weapon through npc is a big no. Use your blacksmith to greeding at sunken ship, sell fabric/poison spore to buy shop at prontera normally.

Thanks for the tip, can you recommend me good and easier maps to leveling? I tried with Magmarings but it took me like 3 days to level up from 99 to 100, I don't know where meet players to play in party because in the game I see players by its own, and some friends play other games not RO.

Oh wow... I lost 12M, I only follow some guides to making zeny but you're right, i'll try to level up my Blacksmith to get Mastersmith.

 

Yeah I'm following the second guide but some quest there for 100+ have really hard enemies. But I'll try to change to another places.

Suggested items for nogg/magma dungeon:

 

Crimson Katar (Water) with vadon cards - 2-3m value

armor card earth deleter card - 4m value (put it at the enchanted cotton shirt you got when you're new)

lucius fire armor -1-2m or free value

 

Skills to use:

Either you sonic blow everything until you get rolling cutter, or meteor assault

LOOT EVERYTHING AND SELL WITH A MERCHANT WITH MAX OVERCHARGE

at nogg, this is about 500k per bounty board turn in. This is how I started with GX.

Stems drop at a 100% rate from mandragoras, while not amazing money individually, due to how easy it is to get them, that's some usefull early money if you are struggling to get anything.

ps: sell to other players in some buy-vends.

party usually in TI (gramps in eden first floor) level 75~100 usually meet and make party inside the map. next level is Mid TI 101~125 people meet at Juno. next is High TI 126~150 also in Juno. Since gramps is available once per day, players usually go elsewhere alone or with friends. your level (level 100) is the hardest to solo due to the gap between bounty boards of low level monster as low exp. for reference you could check the following links.

Bounty Boards. Just accept the quest and kill 150 monster of your choice depending on your level. once done talk to bounty board for additional exp and some zenny. you can do this again and again without limits.

I'll try it, but I think that some prices are outdated, because in ragial vadon cards cost about 4M and the Earth Deleter Card cost: 8.5M (I think that this card is a must), the Lucius Fierce Armor [1] cost about 10-25M.

have you joined a guild? consider join one, since guild member tend to hunt together (reducing death/exp loss)

Continuing from the looting advice and leveling up your merchants class, it is good also to spam RC with EDP after have money, or singleblowing monster with MA/SD/Sonicblow/Crosimpact.
Always check ragial for buying item.. usually they want to buy quest/cooking/crafting material which give you good money and yeah one of them was stem. I was in your position too, i always search sidewinder card for fastkill, and spamming grimtooth also(after the sp is 0, go manual attack) with +4 crimsons and morrigane set.
Also mind the element crimson katar for 1 type monster.
