Hello Everyone.
After facing kinda annoying problem lately.
and watched a lot of players suffering from the same problem.
which is losing exp to not level up
as u know guys a lot of us when reaches 3rd jobs
prefer to farm some jobs in Low TI  so they can face mid Ti and do good performance in it <Killing or Supporting>
So as everyone know after we reached level 100 and have about 90% exp percent
we go suicide to lose the exp Which is really annoying for regular players and even more annoying for Vip players.
For Example:
lets say i have 96% Exp percent and i'm VIP.
i will need 96 time to die to lose that exp.
and for regular players they need 32 times.
So Why let us suffer this annoying process

while u can Make us A
Exp lock system:

Which is 4 commands that let us lock and unlock the exp.
for example:
/LockBase <will lock exp for base level>
/UnlockBase <will unlock the exp for base level>
/LockJob <will lock the exp for job level>
/UnlockJob <will unlock the job level>
________________
Another solution:
Make us stack the exp of the base level but not advance in level till we decide to advance
but hope this only be just for Base Exp cause all this problem is to get job levels so
if we don't know how much our job that will be kinda problem.
and for that its up to u to decide how u gonna do that.
_______________
Well i hope the players support this post cause i think it make things easier to everyone.

One of Lazy Players

well i think u missed the purpose of this post :joy:
or what the problem is cause it will be same problem
cause at at the end we gonna get 95% percent and we need to do that suicide way to lose exp
so lowering the exp will delay the  problem  a bit but will not slove it  :joy:

with this quest (link below) plus job manual at level 99 before reaching level 100, usually got 15~21 job levels which is enough for mid TI. also with guild tax it may increase your chances of having lots of job exp with minimal base exp but staying in low TI is kinda another topic :)

OP already stated the answer to his question himself. Low ti should not be abused by 3rd jobs as it’s supposed to be for newbies/2nd trans. You reach 95% exp and try to kill yourself so you’ll get 0% exp. By doing that, you get advantage of playing 3rd jobs in low ti.

I'm gonna give it my 2 cents if I may.

I came to iRO and wondered why people died often outside of prontera or even had the "please ress if dead" chat in Gramps.
I then realized the whole "91-99 Eden Group Leveling Boards" that provide a ton of job EXP as well as Gramps (although gramps WILL boost a lot of your base AND job exp, considering that you're killing multiple mobs)

If your goal is job levels, have you considered just doing the https://irowiki.org/...sts#Level_91-99 they provide a good amount of job exp and minimal base exp so you could pretty much not collect too much EXP.

I know you seek commands but the matter of the fact is, the whole dying and collect job levels is unique to iRO (I hope I am not mistaken) due to the nature of the bounty boards providing a really good amount of job exp as well as gramps providing a lot of exp overall.

I understand the desire for such ease but I mean, this is unique to iRO, In fact, I think being able to even continue collecting exp at lower gramps for job levels and the bounty board is a blessing in itself.

As for the suggestion, idk, I'm just throwing out the fact that what we are doing here isn't normally possible and we should put the effort in if need be to continue doing these things.

What is your main goal? Job levels on your 3rd class character? or?

Honestly in the past you do that to get job levels so you can party well in mid TI and above. But with today's set of gears and exp multiplier, I seriously doubt the need to do so anymore. Like the above post, i seriously recommend doing all the 91-99 board quest and then just turn it in once you job change with BMX3 and Job Manual on. They give amazing amount of job levels.

dying to reset base exp occurs in other servers too, just the base lvl "cap" that ppl want to maintain is a bit more lenient.

That said, if you simply keep leveling up after you reach 3rd, you will get a fair amount of job levels, even not vip/not turning in questa for job only.

Would rather just resukill myself in droseras/nepentheses/etc than to risk even more abuse(albeit this has been happening for a long time with quests this will prolly escalte it even further), you missed my point as well so i gues it's equal

Imagine turning in 2billion or so exp everytime just by killing low level monsters, yes still grindy but defeats the purpose of the exp cap

Staying at low TI for job exp (by the suggested feature or by killing your self for -%base) is too much work for a trivial portion of your leveling journey. There's not much difference between mid-ti and low-ti nowadays where you can solo both easily. It only makes a difference when partying as the guy few posts above me said.
