A 1 handed DB RK 

 

what kind of gears can i make do with assuming i have a strings  slave  alt.

 

How do i build around it ?

From your available budget, seek to max DB%, range damage %, HP%, VIT, SP% and SP. 

 

Too many gear choices, go have fun figuring out. I would suggest checking out RK MVP videos so you know whats the top end gears and just replace those you can't get with cheap stuff that provides the above %.

 

Example, no money for +9TGL EA10, +0 mace[4] with 4 AS works too if you have string slave.

yeah i was looking for what kind of things i can exclude from the build and focus on gearing by priority.

 

Since I can exclude TGL that is a good thing for me  since i like to have a shield for damage reduction.

Yeah its something of a long term plan , while i level with BB/IB thanks to blackcrossY 's guidance  i now got the hang of it.

Other choice  for   one handed weapon  

 

RTE 3 AS EA5   dmg just same as 4 AS Mace / 4 slots weapon

 

if you have Gene on your alt sharing gears with 

 (and of course  you can use your Gene for grinding instances / farming  to get some Zeny for your RK) 

 

since basic Gene weapons  are  RTE EA enchant  with 3 AS for dmg  and 3 HF for leech   you can bring both swords from Gene  to leveling your RK....

 

 

 

 

for head gear + accessory + garment  + shoes

 

if you can't afford  above  1b worth per gear  (so  no high end gear like  Temp Ring , RBDH , FAW , Fafnir) 
also want to save some Zeny  to buy cheaper  alternate gears   

 

+9 Vanagand and Fenrir chain combo is fine  since  Vana have SP leech chance to save some SP consumable  

and Vana+Fenrir combo give -20% delay reduction  but so sad  the combo  it's applied only one Fenrir chain

so second accessory will be  Fairy Leaf  

 

Mid - Lower  maybe   Mask of Hero for 10 Vit 
+ Toy Syringe < since RK need to have full HP all the time before DB    Toy Syringe give better Slims potting

 

+8 full Vit GFSS  with Menblatt card is nice too  give a lot of HP with Temp boots combo  

and GFSS is cheap  

Temp Dex EA4 Muscle fool  is cheap and good  for you and people underestimated it 

 Muscle fool proc  not decrease your DB damage   also huge def boost make you take less damage

(Since you don't have Temp Ring  so don't need to buy  EA4 SOL) 

 

Armor is up to you  if lacks of Fafnir  try  any armor with Peco card ?

You always need Temp Dex  + 120 Dex for get rid of DB fix cast time

 

 

Temp boots + GFSS combo give  15% Max HP    and full Vit enchant possible is  around 12-13 Vit total

This simplifies most of the things  

I guess this is where the flamel card comes in  the recovery instead of immune  because you  can kill stuff fast and you will save a lot on pots

 

What would you prefer? Immune GFSS or GFSS of recovery

GFSS of Recovery + Toy Syringe + Vitality Rune   give a lot of recovery per slim used 

 

but if you want a little more DB damage  I prefered Menblatt card
