So I recently saw a video were you can spam stuff much more on Windows 7. I would like to ask if anyone has tried to run a W7 Virtual Machine to see if they animation/ping or whatever it is that changes allows you to chain it more efficiently than in W10?

I would have to find my W7 key and that is the only reason I have not tried this myself.

Thanks!

Chaining VP W7 vs W10:

fixed animation of skills like Dragon Breath can be "skipped" with the right connection to the server it seems at least.
look at pp's vid. i also saw a GX adjusting his ping to skip CRS' animation.
as weird as this sounds, it is what it is.

however, Klief's you can see his VP is faster on windows 7. He plays in Hawaii.
me and klief have the same situation. I also chain VP faster and "more consistent" on windows 7.
problem with this is, everything else lags. only skills with mouse click are faster.

it's the opposite on windows 10. this is the case for people like us who are far to the server.

Have you tried running client in Window 7 mode? There is a compatibility setting to run an exe in Win7 mode if you right click on the client and select properties. Let me know so I don't have to downgrade my OS.

I've tried that already but that does not do any difference.
Be careful about that though. Sure, you'll chain mouse click skills faster, but things like moving, chatting with npc, moving items from inventory to storage... those will be laggy.

what's interesting is self target skills are unaffected.. you'll do the same speed regardless of anything.
pretty much like auto attack with /noctrl.
