Hi All,

I spent 2b on the RG gears, and collected 2 shield ring, imperial boot, anemos shield.

I tried the damages, it's doing average of 25k on most monsters, 7k on earth monsters, 50k on wind monsters.

I'm now having a hard time to obtain Randel cards. Their either overpriced expensive or no one selling.

Are there any other options with my RG? My gears seems useless without the card.

I am kinda there too. Randel cards are way too overpriced. So, I bought a +10 Circlet of Phoenix for the time being and I am leveling with Overbrand for the time being until I can get my hands into 3 True Randel cards.

what level are you?

i don't have randel cards myself and im doing 50k ED on non boss targets that take 100% earth damage with +12 Crimson Spear 2AK.

Earth Drive is very different to most physical offensive skills. It is affected by ATK but not as much as everything else. It is only really boosted by 2 things - randel card & shield weight. Engkanto card, AK card, ATK gears and even Inspiration buff don't increase ED as much as they would on other skills.

Overbrand is a good alternative until you get the cards.

Does the levels increase damage? I'm currently 128. I got 90 on str,Dex,vit.
I got pinpoint lvl5, sacrifice lvl5. I don't have inspiration yet.
Is there another way to get Randel card? Like OCA,MCA?
People selling it more than 3b per card.

farm bio5 with Gene
farm highly rewarding intances

or buy a bunch of KP and convert those into zenny.

If that's your goal, you might want to pick another class for it.

Overbrand still a good secondary skill   with right set up and right element 

 

+10 COP   2x Shield Rings  set up is good for Overbrand too....  

 

I pick this skill to fight against  Earth / Shadow4 / Holy4

 

 

but if against mobs which still take 100% from Earth element  or  weak to Earth element 

  yes ,  use Earth Drive as main skill is better DPS

 

 

 

True Randel price is too high  and feel overpriced  nowaday   3b per card  

 

3 cards = 9b   +10 Gelerdria  2b+  = 11b   better to save it for rest of your gears   

or even making cheaper multiple alternative weapon      2x AK Crimson Spear Holy  ,   KVM spear  ,  3x AK Gelerdria  for example 

 

 

but anyway  even without True Randel   DPS is not bad at all  since with 2x Shield Rings  you can spam it  , feels like spamming RC as a GX lol

I remember when I was mentally complaining that Randel cards cost me 500M each back when I was looking for three of them. Once I got three I stopped watching the prices. To see that people are charging around 3B for one now... that's just crazy.

I think when a better and efficient RG build comes out, then the price of card will drop.

3-4 Randel beats +12 KVM.

Between Valk Knife and 3 slot lvl4 Spear though, take into account the aspd potential you get with spear quicken. If you have enough skill delay reduction that will go hand in hand with your aspd, a spear will do higher DPS.

at most you want to be mindfull of how much atk the weapon actually has + slots, to compare with a valk hammer. The hammer is nice for the full effect of 4 cards, but it has a pretty damn low total atk.

planning on buying trgs in thor, (2b per card wtf?!?) havent tested in sakray since it was down last week, was wondering if it is worth the investment since i have gspear. lol thanks for the answers.

the price is just as important too. Is it worth spending that much on a melee skill that is forced earth?
by now i think everyone knows range AOE skills are the meta.. specifically Dragon Breath and Cart Cannon.

here in Chaos, the card is 3b. You'd be spending 12B total for it. And that's only for your RG.. unlike "universal" gears like Temporal Ring, Fafnir Scale and so on.

I suggest you go for a +10~12 Gelerdria/Poison Forged Spear though.
4 Randels on Valk Knife/Hammer do about the same as 3 Randels on said weapons.. a little less actually.
Plus, you get to use spear quicken which means you could do 7 EDs per second given the right set of gears.

i was thinking about that too, but i got a +13 gspear, they would have the same-ish damage right?

Earth Drive has 3 seconds cooldown. One Shield Ring reduces it by 1.5 seconds if you have Inspiration 5.
Using only one you'll be left with 1.5 seconds delay for it.

depending on situation 1.5sec might be enough for ED but personally I would just rather go full Cannon Spear for the range benefits with a similar delay (2 sec for CS). ED build is now 'viable' because of the high spam rate with 2x Shield Ring.

I personally prefer Cannon Spear too for leveling. It's simply faster to wipe the mobs from afar. In BIO4 and BIO5 though, Earth Drive is the meta for RG.
