What the hell is this? I have 2B zeny at the moment. I am Level 56 Blacksmith. I can't accumulate zeny after I reach 2B?

Before you start complaining about why, pls note that game originates from kRO, this zeny system worked for them cause zeny is hard to get there. It’s not a problem there so there isn’t any fix for you. Any change will be custom from iRO - good luck convincing any sort of big risky action since we also don’t got hack prevention system.

How about the amount of zeny that can be traded at once? Is there a limit for that too?

From iRO Wiki: A single character is limited to holding (2^31 - 1) = 2,147,483,647 zeny at a given time. While engaged in a trade with another player, if either player attempts to add enough zeny to put the other player over this cap, the trade will automatically cancel. Additionally, a single trade is limited to 999,999,999 zeny at once.

So two trades before you need another zeny mule.

Actually some in-game value already over (2^31)-1 such as exp table of level 190-200.
But as blackCROSSCY said. Zeny isn't a problem there yet so they won't fix it.

If I want to trade more than 1B with another player, I'll need to trade 2 times with him? Isn't this susceptible to scam? What if he disappears without giving me the item I want to buy from him after I trade 1B to him?

You will need to screenshot the trade and parts of the trade's agreement. If things did not go well then you can send in a ticket to have the GM staff intervene. Also for the sake of relevancy, go through this topic for ideas.

I know how to take screenshots. But when do I take them? What sort of information should I include in the screenshots?

 

And how do I record video clips?

For replay clips, on your alt+v window there's a camera icon, thats used to record replay files, wich you can later find on the Replay folder on your RO directory.

In reality the chances of being scammed out of a high-level trade is very very low - most people know that issues like this will be reversed anyway. Practically everyone here just wants to get these annoying 4+ transaction trades done as quickly as possible. 

 

Fire up an RO Replay file before any trade and you're golden. H*ck, start a Replay file every time you log in - only takes a few seconds and you never know what you might capture! File size isn't an issue, even my largest multi-hour replays are only a few MB, 6 at the most.
