I'm new to this Yggdrasil Ascension System. Also never participated in OCP too before. Can you guys enlighten me on this subject? And what's the difference between Yggdrasil Retro Ticket I and Yggdrasil Retro Ticket II? Looking to try it out but would like some info first.

Yggdrasil Ascension is our new OCP Item System!
 
Buy the Tickets from the cash shop and take it to the Yggdrasil Tree Explorer located in the Eden Group.

The Explorer will take the ticket and give you your reward. Using the ticket will not consume it but teleport you to the Southern Gate of Prontera. Ticket Claiming is divided into 10 steps. Each step gives a specific reward and when you reach step 10 with the tickets it starts all over again.
 
Each Ticket Costs 300 pts
Rewards:
Each ticket when claimed will give a reward according to it's step.
Step 1 Random Item from this Month's OCP List and 4 Bloody Branch
Step 2 Random Item from this Month's OCP List
Step 3 Random Item from this Month's OCP List
Step 4 Random Item from this Month's OCP List
Step 5 Guaranteed Random Gear with Semi Rare or Rare rarity from this Month's OCP List
Step 6 Random Item from this Month's OCP List and 4 HE Bubble Gum
Step 7 Random Item from this Month's OCP List
Step 8 Random Item from this Month's OCP List
Step 9 Random Item from this Month's OCP List
Step 10 Guaranteed Random Gear with Rare rarity from this Month's OCP List
 
Exact lists for the archive, and featured list will be published during maintenance.
 
This means at by Step 10 you will have spent 3000kp and received the following
8 Random OCP Items (Can Include consumables)
1 Random Semi Rare or Rare OCP Gear
1 Random Rare OCP Gear
4 Bloody Branches
4 HE Bubble Gum
 
Current box rates will stay about the same. So Steps 5 and 10 give increased rates.

Basically a lootbox, you got random item once you exchange your ticket. some steps is guaranteed give you item mentioned. Different ticket is like different lottery, they will have different rewards.

some steps is guaranteed give you item mentioned guarantee an item from a Rarity Tier (Semi-Rare and/or Rare), not a specific item itself.

Simply put, they're different "boxes".
Just like comparing the difference between "OCP Remix I" and OCP Remix II"

I see that there've been a few versions of these Yggdrasil Ascension tickets being released already. Can I still get the items offered in past versions or can I only get the items from the latest version?

 

Since Yggdrasil Ascension is the new incarnation of Overseas Care Package, I'm just wondering whether it is still possible to get items offered back in Overseas Care Packages.

Your options would be:

 

1.) Fire Sale - an event where they put out an NPC that sells previous boxes

2.) Remix boxes - (idk if they still have this or it's now the Ygg Ascension version but) it picks some stuff from previous releases and compiles them into one box/ticket again
