Hi, after recently using a Neuralizer with my Mechanic I noticed that that several gear bonuses that applies when you have certain skills maxed where still applying. Normal behavior returns when maxing the aforementioned skill again.

Here's a way to replicate this:

  1. Use a Mechanic (for the purposes of this example)
  2. Equip a Work Cap on the Mechanic.
  3. Max the skill "Axe Boomerang", notice how the Work Cap will give you an extra +100 ATK now.
  4. Use a Neuralizer.
  5. Even though you have no equips whatsoever and no skill points assigned, the +100 ATK bonus still applies.
  6. This could potentially be abused by stacking different gear bonuses.

Note: It might work with Mesmerizer or a similar NPC but due to my Mechanic's level I couldn't test further.

Did the bonus go away as you warp out/change map/teleport?

The only serious issue would be if the item itself has no equip/de-equip check, I am not very sure if this applies to this case though.

relog and its back to normal

It works as reported, meaning it's abusable BUT only until you change maps or relog, as was stated above. So the potential for abuse is minimal.
