Hello Everyone,

 

As you may have noticed the pre registration site for Ragnarok: Transcendence has launched. Ragnarok: Transcendence, or RT, is an updated version of Ragnarok Online.

 

We have already discussed a couple of the upcoming game systems during our extralife live stream.

 

Pet Evolution System

-The pet system is getting a major overhaul. It is now possible to have pets evolve into more advance forms over time. In addition, pet loyalty bonuses will no longer be an all-or-nothing prospect. Instead, pets will begin giving greater bonuses as they become more loyal to you.

 

Homunculus Renewal Update

-Alchemists are receiving an important update to their own unique adventuring companions. Homunculi will now gain experience based on when it’s master gains experience, no longer will users be penalized for taking their homunculus out on an adventure. In addition, the homunculus auto feed system will be implemented so your companion will never again run away due to a lack of food (Owner must have food to auto feed. If you don’t have food it will still run away. Feed your pets please.)

 

In addition to these updates, over the next few weeks we will be showcasing additional changes to the new service:

An antibotting/cheating system that has been tried, tested, and working on other RO servers.

• Refine UI Update
• Daily Login Reward System
• Inventory Capacity Display Update
• Vending System Update
• Memorial Dungeon System Renewal
• Item Based VIP System
• Navigation System Update
• Rodex Search Feature

 

There has been some speculation that this new service will be a copy of Ragnarok: Zero, but we want to be clear that this is not a 1 to 1 conversion of Ragnarok: Zero for international release. For months we have had discussions and meetings with the studio and development team, to bring more refined Ragnarok Experience to our users. RT is an improvement on the Ragnarok Zero Server with its own unique settings, balance, and content. 

 

RT will also have its own iRO exclusive systems/dungeons including.

• Elemental enchanted weapons dropping from monsters.
• Unique equipment dropped from special dungeons.
• New achievements and rewards for completing them.
• Special storyline quests unique to the RT servers.
• Increased healing power for Acolytes/Priests
• World drop events
• Second Classes and Max Level 99/50 to start.

 

Please keep an eye on us over the coming weeks as we share more details regarding the server and our plans for the future.

Many of you are wondering what's going on with RT. Currently we're testing the new game systems to make sure that they work. Once they pass the internal test, we will announce beta dates and a timeline of releases. Then we will start working on the first RT: Dangerous Dungeon map - based on your feedback!

 

What Dungeon do you think we should make dangerous first?

• Payon Cave

So is it going to actually be RO Zero with Zero skill changes and improvements?

Yes hopefully it has that 1st and 2nd class skill update

Since RO-T is 99/50 pre-rebirth and kROz is 120/70 rebirth that's technically not 1-1 zero

Only for this new game Ragnarok Transcendence. Chaos and Thor will have it's separate updates.

tbh Im not here for RT, im here mostly for the iRO, and you may consider it is offtopic, but I think i have the things mixed.

 

On the 1st announce, I tough the Pet Evolution, anti-cheat system and Homunculus update will be a part of iRO future, a post with future updates wich you did not make it yet.

 

Now, whit this news, seems like these updates will be implemented in RT, being said, so iRO Chaos wont received them? did I got confuse signals on the RO1 future? or will be a separate post about it?

 

I feel more dizzy than hyped. Please dont leave iRO just die to put all the attention into your new RT service, just like the failure of RE:Start did.

This is the very first kRO zero update from the kRO zero dev team,

I'd like to know how much RO-T will have since it's a derived version of zero

RO1 will receive these same changes when it returns in February.

 

No confirmation from staff yet, players like me, who invest so many time/money/effort in a server for years, wont think in changing to a brand new service, it may be attractive for new players, like classic and RE:Start did, but the success or failure will rely on the dedicated staff and advertisement work, I will test it for sure, best of the luck on this new journey, but my home is Chaos.

Even though this post is for the new title, all of these changes are stuff that happen on renewal as well, so it's like 90% safe to assume Chaos/Thor will see at least these changes too.

"Zero but refined" would mean having at least the skill reworks, zero exclusive gear and instances, and fever fields.

 

Why they can't just tell us if we will have this or not? They say it's a "refined version of zero" but they don't talk about the most important features.
