That's no different from how they currently run RO with every official being different from kRO. I don't uderstand why they need to make it a big deal to emphasize that for iRO's version of RO:Zero.

Because they are trying to forget how nefarious RO Re:Start was. They know it was a nostalgia cash grab, so they need to bury the hatchet as soon as possible to proceed with the next big thing.

What happened to RO Restart? I was thinking of trying it out back when it started but I was in my last year of college so didn't have time anyways

don't quote me but i think the AI dies. you have to control it. It'll be faster anyways.

 

 

Why would you afk it when you can kill significantly more mobs than it? If it also gets exp from quest that you turn in you can power lvl it basically. No more of that muh nostalgia stuff please or it kill some old thing you used to do.

 

 

I believe like ShoLin said the AI won't work anymore. But yes afking in OD2 will be pointless, as your homunculus just levels with you now. It's a much, much better system.

 

 

i prefer the AI system because i do not lvl past 99 but i keep lvl'ing my homun.  It lets me hoard eden badges and tis which is y i am very curious.  This lets me generally be always semi afk while i get kill count in ti..

Given that Chaos and Thor are planned to go down December 6, the beta test for RO:Zero should at least start before then so people can get started on their RO:Zero characters while Chaos and Thor get updated.

Not sure if Homun update that Camp mentioned related to Genetic first improvement in original game.
But in Genetic improvement. Homun will always on passive mode. Won't attack anything unless owner manually order it.
This change prevent Homun suicide itself by attacking high level monsters when owner leveling it. (since Homun will gain 10% of final exp owner gain)

The registration page for existing WP accounts is now working, except that it still doesn't work for Chrome (at least for me and an acquaintance). Some sort of error message appears after filling in the registration details and then it stops there. No emails sent no nothing. I had to use Internet Explorer for my account to be fully registered (i.e. confirmation mail sent). If this thing wouldn't be fixed, considering many of the interested players are unaware of the dire status of the WP site, they'll eventually end up abandoning their interest altogether, losing more than 90% of the potential playerbase (the numbers are merely my opinion you don't have to wrestle over it).

That said, you should alert this issue over your Facebook page, because that's the only place potentials players get their information. Which is why it's weird this status thread is only posted here without links shared to the site leaving people groping for answers.

I just tried in Chrome, and apparently everything worked fine. Got the confirmation email, and if I try to register again, it says the name I used is now taken.

 

Though yeah, I don't see anything in account management yet. I imagine that is tied to the fact that you can't add RT accounts by hitting the "Add Game Account" button yet.

I used the latest IE, Firefox, and Chrome and still got that stupid error message despite having both Javascript and Flash enabled. Ended up having to register through my frickin' phone for it to work.

Out of curiosity, are those of you having issues using a VPN by any chance?

i was able to register on my android mobile but not on my computer.. something about adobe not being updated but when you go to the adobe page it says that software isnt available anymore.. i am not using a VPN

Okay, I was starting to suspect that maybe VPNs are blocking the site from detecting if your browser has Javascript and Flash enabled, but since that's not the case I'll just chalk it up to WP just having a crappy website that needs to leave 2010.
