Apparently, dead branches won't work anywhere using any character. We're supposed to have a guild event and it's ruined lol.

Huh. I gotta say I'm having trouble finding a place that can use them as well. Mjolnir Dead Pit, Geffen Dungeon, Orc Village, 3 different Juperos+surrounding maps, several world maps... nothin'. FWIW, I'm getting two different error messages. Sometimes it's the blue "This item cannot be used within this area" and white "unable to summon monsters in this area"... so something got changed somehow.

Didn't they mention something about enabling all of the monster summoning items in a recent thread?

Or maybe they meant it's only for prontera field 8(south field)..?

Prt_fild08.gat will be open to all transformation/monster summon items. Go Crazy for the holiday

Maybe they meant 'disabling' all of the monster summing items? go figure.

A few mentions:

there are two notifications 

1. the standard notification for a nondbable map in blue text

2. the white text notification"unable to summon monster in this area" given to all maps at the moment (no, I have not tried all maps, but I have tried a dozen or so that worked a week ago).

My guess:
They tried to enable all summoning items for one map, but accidentally disabled it everywhere else

They're planning to fix it in a maint later though

Fixing an issue that prevented monster summon items from working on most maps.
