I am kinda hyped for the Ragnarok Transcendence, but damn, Warpportal seems to me really lazy.

I’ll try to list some points:

 

1. The Forum

 

Here is the IDEAL place to talk about the game, since it was made for this. However, important announcements like the start of the CLOSED BETA TEST are nowhere to be found at the forum (No thread, neither a simple edit in the main post). In my case, I don’t follow game pages at my social medias, but seems like it’s the only place this has been posted, I only got to know this because I saw some youtuber made a video about it. Even small stuff like the “Pre Registration Raffle” never was advertised at the forum.

 

2. Clarity

 

The thread about the new server try to list some of the features that hopefully will be implemented, but it’s really unclear for some people. There is a lot of confusion about being a sort of Re:Start or Classic Server. What is the problem to make a decent post to explain in detail what we’re looking forward on the server? Could even make a short video, use some kRO Zero footage just to exemplify. Other thing is the freaking poll that started a few days ago about the new “Dungeon System”, why in the hell didn’t you guys just use some sort of Google Form, or Strawpoll ? The thread got really cloggy for no reason, even distracting people from their discussion. For a poll like that, I don’t feel represented.

 

3. Advertise

 

There is none. Like, I see that even that way a lot of people are pre registering, probably because they saw at their social media (because it’s the only place seen worth to advertise for you). There isn’t even a website so people could check it out. The Warpportal site only leads to the pre registration site (that seems to be STILL messy) and some blog post talking briefly about the server. There was an attention to make a Countdown website, just to release the same old Ragnarok Promotion Video from like 2-3 years ago, come on guys, you can do better.

 

 

That’s it. I mostly lurk here at the forum, but this really is annoying me. Feel free to comment, meme or something.

You're not wrong OP. Communication is really poor when it comes to RO. Staff member said they are busy with xyz but they are neglecting the most important aspect of running a game--players feed back. They stopped caring about the players years ago and the players stop caring about the game. Why do you think the population is sub 1k now?
