Honestly, many Chaos players don't care about this new Re: start 2.0 server since the announcement and just wanted to stay on Chaos server having fun as they wanted.

 

Why shut down the server for two months and force these players to play on that other server?

 

This is an MMO and the basis of everything is the farm, it takes our time.

Many here are not interested in spending life time doing things on a server that won't last it all.

 

If it's not a Zero server, what is the point?

Yup the only reason they shut down chaos temporarily because they are trying to attract players to play RT. I guess they learn this from restart. But what they don’t learn is. A lot of people ain’t got time to start from 0 where you need to grind hours just to get 1%.

I won’t even bother to try out RT. I know it will ended up like restart anyway lol. Instead of focusing on RT wp should improve chaos more.

Crazzydog, so far there's no thorough listing to Renewal servers but here's what we will get based on testing:

• Daily Attendance
• Homunculus
• Pet Evolution
• Alt+Right Click Storage

You can check Campitor's post here.
And also updates to instances, there may be more content updates but I'd say it is too early to ask for one so let's wait a bit.

Is there any way to watch RO Replay files while the server is down?

 

See steps below.

Be advised you will need to revert the changes when done, this is to avoid any patching issues in future.

 

Spoiler

1. Browse to RO game folder.
2. Find and open patch_allow.txt in a text editor.
3. Change deny to allow.
4. Save the changes.
5. In the same folder, right-click the file patch_allow.txt, choose Proprieties, choose General tab, enable Ready-only.
6. Click Apply then Ok.
7. Start the launcher, Replay button should now be available for use.

Can we take the last digit away of every single character in Chaos for a temporary or quick fix of this “inflation” problem we have for long time?

Would this be a good move and good time since it is fair that everyone’s Zeny balance wouldn’t be any changes.

not a good idea bro, small players will be affected by that and big time players will sue you.

My idea is to put refine event like the jakk present where players can refine from +10 to +20 but they need to pay big time like 1b per attempt to +15 with 5% chance and chances go +16 to 4% and so on, so in that way big time players who wants to upgrade there gear higher will have to pay big time.No need for drastic moves but an enticing way to dump zeny.

Yep, it's actually not that great of a descision. You mentioned it yourself, it's a temporary fix.

If nothing else changes, then all that lost zeny will be simply "regenerated" over time.

Given that WP is actually putting anti-cheat program to counter bot after this long maintenance, it might actually work? And, since this is a fair cut of the Zeny that is now in the server and people don’t really farm from monsters now? Like how many of us really loots misc. item from ground?

anti-cheat will never fix our market.if WP really looking to fix the market is to have an event that will entice players to gamble their zeny like raffler but raffler is not enough.So i think WP look into my idea of refine event that take big time zeny from players, if they want +16-18 gears u may but u gonna pay alot.

cutting a digit of everyone's zeny out there doesnt work when duping remains unsolved.
