An npc leveler and instant alchemist option would've made sense if the homunculus system was just an external patch coming into an already established and functioning server.

But this game is literally still being built and there's too much stuff that's still untested to warrant careless skipping.

As a programmer, I'm sure you're familiar with scenarios where the bugs that you thought were contained in a specific case were actually caused from a different one, right?

It's not like time is limited on testing anyways. Homunc system bugs found at a later date should still be addressed. And even after closed beta ends, we'll still have open beta.

 

Sure, but then what's broken is not the Homunculu Evolution System, is the Alchemist quest, or Alchemist leveling or anything else... And thats 'general mechanics'. Maybe the homunculus system test came way earlier then what it should've been.

Part of testing homunc system is making sure your character can have homuncs. But if our characters can't even get past job change bugs then that obviously needs to be cleared first.

It may be true that the insertion of the homunc system may be early, but it's not like players can no longer test and request fixes after the designated days have already passed by

err, dont forget the homun update is primarily a chaos patch, that will just probably get rolled into RT as well. There's not many changes, homuns get 10% of your exp from kills and quests, AI is disabled and autofeed is introduced. Thats it.

It literally took me 45 mins to farm all 3. Byalan Cave has Black Mushrooms for Alcohol and Detri. And Poison Spores drop the Karvo. Geez, I even went out of my way to farm all the items I need for quest skills too. The rates aren’t that bad, lol.  
 

edit: Try getting 2 Grape Juice, 30% drop and only spawns from Dragon Fly every hour.

 

Then you're lucky as F. I spent hours and nothing dropped.

Alcohol .75%

 

Why would we dump a ton of time to test something that's being wiped anyways?

 

If they are worried others will just class change to something else only make it for the class you're testing.

Maybe instead of removing Anubis, they should've just considered adjusting its exp yield instead.

Hey guys, you may think that it is necessary all the three items to do the alchemist quest, but only one of those are necessary, so if you have only karvo in your inventory it is enough to finish it

If that's true still doesn't justify them forcing us to do mundane things.

 

 

Level UP NPC at end of beta testing would make sense than putting it the start.

Also, remember this is beta, I'd ask the users to be polite and keep a calm tone when requesting things, throwing a fit is not helpful 

 

As for completing Bioethics quest, Koring is MIA, he will be added later today.

 

Botching the beta testing at every move is worth "throwing a fit"

 

There is 0% point of forcing us to waste time leveling characters when to test skill and etc

 

There is 0% point forcing us to fetch mundane items to complete quests

 

It's their job to know what the exp curve and if the monsters are dropping the items properly

 

It's our job to see if -_- works.

It is true, I just turn into an alchemist, for me the real problem is the missing npc from bioetc quest, and not drop some items with unlimited cash

Pretty much 2 days wasted because people in charge aren't doing things properly.

 

Stop pandering to the people that want to go through this "normally"

 

If this happens again I'm done with testing.

Yes you can just have the karvo. However, soon as you hit step 13 you need coal still.
