Server is lagging horribly nonstop now, what's the deal? Can't even pot fresh fish and character is skipping all over the place. I'm in the US so I can't even imagine how bad it is for foreigners.

I'm from Brazil and here it is absurdly horrible to play because of the lag.
Not even using VPN programs like NoPing has alleviated the problem. Sad!

From what I know and experienced, rubber band effect in game is usually caused by latency issues such as packet loss, regardless where you are located on the globe.

 

With that said, we can't really pin point what is the problem without seeing a traceroute log.

So users having lag provide a log by following the guide linked here.

 

tecomes, VPN/Proxy doesn't work for everyone. It depends on the connection itself, ISP and many other factors.

If the program didn't work well for you, try another for example Battleping or Leatrix Latency Fix (Free). Choose any and test, but don't run both at once as it may cause issues.

If you decide to go with Battleping since they provide a free trial (20 min), choose their closest proxy server to the game. iRO servers are located in the west coast of the US, so any west coast proxy server will be your best option, East and Central proxy servers can work too.
