You could but... most times the guilds on alts. So it looks pretty much empty in game. Not to mention we plan out parties there ><;

Y'all don't use guild chat for that? I mean all y'all got to do is tell me if there's a party about to form. Shouldn't be hard. I'm assuming y'all join the voice chats for parties? Otherwise, there's no real need for Discord for party forming (unless y'all party up with allies, right?).

 

Edit: I used to be a healer for some other MMORPG a few years back, so I kinda understand the need for TeamSpeak/Discord/etc. I try to avoid chatting on stuff like that unless it's absolutely necessary (it helps bring lag to almost nothing).

How would you communicate with the guild if everyones on an alt that is not in the guild?

Most our members are sitting on 3-8 characters.

We don't exactly use discord for voice chatting. It's just an easy way to plan things, and answer questions etc.

I mean parties exist, but my guild of old (close-knit) on an old game didn't find TS/Dis until later. It was do-able for us.

Sorry for wasting your time. I guess I tend to pick on people for small things that don't mean much.

 

Could I join WW, or no? If not, I'm going to look elsewhere. I appreciate the time you take to answer people's questions.

 

Edit: The reason why I mentioned a thing about lag is because the PCs I use to play games is low-end. They can't take much of anything open. I can usually only open a game, maybe a forum depending on how graphic heavy a game is (and switching browsers does not fix the PC issues for me at least). I try to make the PC run as smoothly as possible, so I don't annoy parties. A healer with a bugged out screen is the worst thing to happen when the healer is depended on for keeping a party alive (and they're trusted even more to have their end alright when the party needs 2-3, maybe even 4 healers at once).

You might be ending up with more members with similar issues as I do. I hope you understand. ^^'

Actually you can. I am reorganizing the Guild in a day or so. Will be removing all of the inactives, and bringing in alts of players that play frequently.

Before we used to have many actives so it was never a real issue, but seems many have moved on. Trying to figure out solutions as we have a couple people that do not want to join the discord (and tbh haven't seen them online since they joined)
Anyways, please send a mail to Sapphire. (do note the period there as its part of the name.) with your active time frames, and I will try to set up a time to bring you in (this is another reason discord makes life easier >_>; since you can just pop in and say I need an invite lol)

I am an old player who started in beta (the server tells me January 2003). I haven't played in many years but Renewal makes no sense to me.

I have a level 71 Vit/Int crusader with heal and shield skills. I am full of tankiness but can't kill my way out of a wet paper bag so I need a guild now.
