Does Weaponry research increase HIT, ATK for blacksmiths in Transcendence?

I don't think it's working like that, I'm adding points to this skill but it doesn't make any difference at my HIT or ATK.

So I think in transcendence it only adds the chance of forging success.

It works, but not every buff appears on the stat window.

its happen to me too, seem that its not working adding damage, did you test it at lvl 10?

I was about to ask this question and found this tread. Does weapon research increase the atk and hit?

 

Update: I have made some research and I can confirm that Weapon Research increase ATK. I tested it with the skill Maximize Power and putting one skill point to Weapon Research at a time and the damage was higher. The ATK and HIT are not visible on the stats window.

Thanks, Jon. I recently came back to RO for this server and was worried I was wasting skill points.
