i'm trying to upgrade my stilleto[2] +40 atak to +6 but the forger asks me to have OLD ENRICHED ORIDECON instead of EMVERETARCON
what is happening here?
dont we need to use enveretarcon or fracon/regular orideon to upgrade our weapons?
wth is old enriched oridecon?
does this only applies to weapons with bonus and not to regular NPC weapons?

can somebody explain me what changed about the upgrading system?

u can use emveretarcon when upgrading, make sure u have some in your inventory. Take a look at the upper part of the forging ui, u will see the emveretarcon item there.

I know but it also request them Old enriched Oridecon

Someone plz reply. To this ruru clearly doesnt know old enriched ordiceons and wear to obtain them. There are boxes available in cash shop but where can u find them without paying real money.

Can you please tell us which NPC you are using for the upgrade?

it doesnt request it, it shows it as an option to use as the upgrade material. Just click on the Ore you wanna use

Hm so from what I have gathered, for the Enriched ore obtained through Kafra you will need to use a separate NPC, though this NPC doesn't use the new refine UI.. As for the Old Enriched Ori and Elu, the items are not available yet afaik. It needs to be checked regardless.

i went to both smiths in payon spot 5
and also the smith inside the smithy in prontera
they all requested me both ENVERETARCON and OLD ENRICHED ORIDECON so i can upgrade that stiletto +0 -> +1

also, i have a friend who is having the same problem
i did not believe him at first since i though "what the frick, they woundn't charge us kafra points to simple upgrades from a +0 stiletto to a +1. but when i tried for my self i got reeeeeeeeeally surprised =/

I don't think you need the old enriched to proceed though, I have upgraded a couple items past +5 without it.

If the NPC still requests them let us know.

As of today, one of 2 npcs that do refining still asks for old enriched oridecon. his name is Antonio, you can see his location in the map.
the other one, really close to Antonio is named Suhnbi is working regularly.

Past week both would ask me Old Enriched Oridecon to upgrade that same stiletto. Somehow i guess Suhnbi got fixed in wednesday last patch.

you will see in the SS the prompt that both gave me when talked to for refining

To make clear, even if i did tried to refine despite not having OEO the npc would not perform any upgrade, saying i'm lacking Old Enriched Oridecon

Hello Melcior4,

On that screenshot, click the Emveretarcon once, it will be moved to the refine ore bracket. Once that done you will be able to proceed. The Old Enriched Ores are optional.

Suhnmi uses the Enriched Ores obtained from Kafra Shop.
