+1 to P2P!

Although going P2P is a double edged sword because there will be people who will not pay so the population be reduced.

It's already going downhill after 1 month, instead of bots getting banned, they seem to be multiplying by the day.
I know people who are already considering quitting cause they saw bots.

There are already bots in the famous farming maps. Spore map, payon dun 2, orc village, creamy map.
I don't have time to report all the bots I see every time I login. I don't even know if the ones I reported got banned.

I'd rather play in a server of 300 real players and few bots than a server of 3000 bots and 300 players hahaha

dang these chaos people that dnt even play RO:T reply more in this thread than the people that does. yes ive seen bots but alot of people are exaggerating of how much bots are actually roaming around the map. it cost what $90 per month? making RO p2p doesnt mean anything. they are willing to pay subs for bots im sure they will pay subs for both bots and RO.

Now we have some people saying that bot issue in RoT are being over exaggerated. I cant tell which side to believe after seeing many complaints about the bots. People need to stop lying because its affecting my decision whether to try RoT or not. It would be a waste to start there just to merge to Chaos in the end T•T

there is bots, but its prolly about 5-15 per popular map except orc map but is kinda hard to tell there cuz there is tonz of real player there too. i live in toy factory pretty much and ive seen like less than 10 bots there.

The botting issue

IS REALLY NOT THAT BAD, IN MY OPINION.

 

I will acknowledge WP/GM's quick actions on kicking them out of the game.

However, its going to be a never ending battle. You ban one of them; 10 will pop up.

It's going to be a thankless job.

Besides if the game have a low rate of BOTs or a high rate of BOTs, WP need to do something to make them disappear.

 

People still didn't learn why bot is bad:

-Game economy gets worse.

-People stop play because they don't like to compete with a player that can farm 24/7.

-If a normal player farm something good, him will have to compete with all BOTs that farmed the same item and probably will sell for a lower price.

-BOTs can run a lot more clients at same time, so openning 10+ vending merchants are not problem.

-BOTs don't need to play to  improve in game a character with all the pain that is needed to make a char strong or "cutie"...

 

Stop trying to minimize the BOT issue and  WP do something to make people stop to create topics about it BY SOLVING THE PROBLEM, not because it help the BOTTERS. "as if BOTTERs care about a bunch of people talking to a lazy company while they get lots of money from you."

agree bot makes economy worse, but also it helps enter stuff to the market. once people are high enough and already have their gear. what makes u think they gonna sit there and farm drops card? i wouldnt lmao. bots can only hunt limited things. i do not support bot but when i needed some cards like drops or fabre, they are there cuz of them. also players can hunt more things valueable. bots cant kill mvps or sit in raydric. people will still play even with bots, u can alreaady open 10+ vending merchant with the merchant licence no problem.

 

but yeh please do something about the bots tho, alot of zeny has entered the game waay too quickly

yesterday i took the Monk job change quest, and there are also bots inside one of the abby selling overpriced Sticky Mucus for 900z.
Mucus are one of the possible needed items for a part of the whole quest.

I think thats offline vending from VIP user. Not a bot
