i'm not sure what build I should do, need some advice.

My primary goal for now is PvE farming and maybe take on some MvPs (im not even sure if thats possible with crusader)

 

Things that need to be considered:

 

-If I choose HC, how costly is the leveling? how much would spend with HP and SP potions?

 

-If I choose Agi-Spear, how much LUK do I need? I talked to a guy who had 1 luk within this build. Is this possible? In this case, do I need SS cards or something similar?

 

Also, does either build require expensive gear or it can be made with NPC gear?

I'm currently leveling a HC Crusader and it's AWESOME! I plan to have these stats at lvl 99:

 

STR 99

AGI 1

VIT 60

INT 40

DEX 40

LUK 1

 

I never bought a SP pot because I have INT but, sometimes, I miss AGI kkkk (have a lot of HP but don't miss the atacks)

I have both and played it on RT.

 

HC build:

IFun build to play but very expensively overall. 

 

Agi-Spear:

This is much cheaper and you can survive mostly solo with basic gears. No need for SS cards since Spear Quicken +30 Crit is decent enough to land critical hits. (Use size % or racial % dmg bonus cards instead)

 

I think having 30 LUK (+10 Crit) is good enough so that you'll have 41 CR just from skill and stat.

For agi spear what kind of spear is the best?

HC damage is doubled if you use 2 hand spear. First starter should use Lance and then Trident with 3 slot racial/atk cards as end game weapon.

If you rely more on aspd atk and plan to farm at other element monsters then dark/undead, use elemental Lance for 2handspear (or element pike if u want to equip shield but who needs an auto guard if u already have high flee as agi crusader?)

Im planning to play agi crit crusader..is trident better than hallberd??

Trident has 3 slots while Halberd has 2 slots. So the extra slot makes Trident better 2handspear to fully utilize the benefits of racial/atk cards

That's decent for early game. You don't like pure crit or high crit?

 

In case you do, you should start saving up for the following:

 

Hair Brush! (Crit +6)

Crescent Scythe or Hallberd (aspd)

+7 or above armor with Pecopeco Card

+9 Hood (Orc Baby)

+7 or above footwear (Matyr Card or Firelock Soldier if footwear is +9)

does crescent is necessary? my current critical only 50 with 30 luk..my current critical gear is only hairbrush..

can you advice me the full stat for critical agi type?

Not really. There are other spears (Like Hallberd with good enchants - current meta) that are better than Crescent. I only suggested it in case you want to have a high crit and don't put much points in LUK.

 

 

It actually depends on your gears on how you want to put points on your stats. Like if you plan on using Crescent, then you can put lower stat points on LUK and put some on VIT.

 

My end-game stat goal on my Crit Crusader is something like this:

 

At level 99:

Str 80

Agi 90

Vit 54

Int 20 (just for HC purposes)

Luk 19

 

 

My end-game goal gears: (This should give around 80+ crit rate,  good aspd and flee rate)

 

Crescent with 2aspd

2x Clip of Counter (Kobold)

Hairbrush

Ares Armor

Orc Baby Garment

Firelock Footwear

Focusing for leveling and farming now, but thinking about MVP, PVP and WOE sometimes.

My opinion is.. since you rely more on PVM, i suggest you to have more agi than VIT, more VIT is usually for WoE/PvP purpose (HC isnt good in MVPing unless you have zeny to buy good EQ to tank MVP). Balancing out in between VIT and AGI is difficult. You rather pick what stats is beneficial to your char most of the time.
