Hi, need advice...coming back to the game from a long while to find out my 103/17 geneticist got nerfed from the ai changes and I can't kill anything with Eden gear and a +5 Twin edge of Naght Sieger and anything leveling related murders me and my weak homunculus in a few seconds.

 

Did research and going to just start over as a DB rune knight, but heard it needs gears, I just want to be sufficient enough to farm gear for myself ><

Hey dude!

Geneticists are very hard to level these days, there's been a lot of changes and I went through every single one of them >,>

What I've done is I've sent you a set of 3 mails. Some are EQs for RK DB, and some are for geneticist. Mind you, these are basic gene gears and might not bring so much kapow, if you know what I mean.

 

I'm planning to spec my gene to acid bomb.. my equipment currently is the triple kingbird red twin edge, sometimes I swapped it for hurricane fury for the cart cannon thing... it's relatively garbage but does the trick you know?

The shoes I use the dex boots, cause the increase in DEX makes cast time faster. I also use menblatt fallen angel wings.

 

For leveling I suggest using cart cannon build. So you want to stack cast time reduction, and maybe use some leech gears to sustain SP. There are new EQs released not long ago that increase CC damage, though I forgot what it's called now.

Thank you in advance to any stuff you give for free. Any tips for new knight like me would be appreciated. Any event or quest I should be aware of(or guides)?  The only problem I have so far playing is the amount of sitting I have to do because spamming pots is too expensive :x

Hahaha the easiest and fastest way to make money is unfortunately the cash shop...

HOWEVER

There are other broken ways to make money which include:

 

- Going to TI map and just looting items

- Going to Nogg road and just looting items

 

I tried this, carried a lot of fly wings (if you want to spend like $10 on cash shop get the unlimted fly wing.. totally worth it and doesnt weigh much). in 30 minutes I can make 2-3 mill zeny.
