By 2nd, you mean base-tier 2nd class Knight -> 99 -> Trans -> 99 LK -> 141+ RK?

What's your build and play style?  The best way to handle things is to plan for RK right away.  Knight is easy going Auto-attack and Bowling Bash for fast leveling to 99.  Do you prefer:

1) auto-attacking (not recommended if you're already asking, and we don't have the updates to make auto-attacking worthwhile, as we don't have the rune updates), or

2) Dragon Breath (easier, but 1b will get you ONE of the two best DB gears), or

3) Ignition Break (cheapest to maximize on damage early on, with the Black Ribbon)

----

Knight to 99 should be done with Eden gears if you don't already have prepared gears.  The waste of money in making stuff unless you plan to make a few other knights or an RG on the immediate isn't worth the time.

----

Novice High -> if you don't already have a novice super weapon, just use a freebie gotten through the novice teaching system (I hope you saved that), AND the novice armour that gives a fair amount of HP.  Unless you have better novice gears in general (Pupa carded something or other...I prefer the base-tier novice freebie with the HP+SP boost, it makes a novice near invincible, and you'll get to 10 in about 1~2 minutes).

-- If you got rid of your early game gears, or never obtained them, and never prepped early stuff, I suggest just going to Malangdo and picking up a Cat Club [3].  That's by far the best weapon you can get now.  You may need to take your highest leveled character, and get some coins to trade, or is it silvervine now?  I forget.  I forget the NPC as well.

-- If you don't feel like going to Malangdo and going through that trouble, make sure to make a Main Gauche +7

-- Note there are no early game gears or cards on the market atm, at least not that Ragial is finding.

----

Swordman High -> Keep those eden gears, unless again, you have prepared already middle-tier gears.  If you got rid of your early gained eden gears, and don't have prepare anything, then that Malangdo Cat Club will suffice through Swordy for auto-attacking, bashing, and magnum breaking (make sure the levels are based on what your planned build is, don't count on the one free reset until much later on, like if you don't like your skill build and want to switch).

-- If you don't feel like dealing with Malangdo, and do not have and cannot get the Eden gears, aim for a Stilleto +6 (prepare one ahead of time), and get to level 12 with the Main Gauche +7

-- Around level 24~40 or so, if you don't have the Eden gears (and cannot do the quest for the early gear), you can switch up to a Damascus ...there are elemental available, which will give a decent boost on certain maps (level 24) , or you can go for a Tsurugi (27) which has a better attack modifier, but no elemental options are available.  That's kind of it, but at least the Tsurugi is store bought, so it's always available (so is the base Damascus, but Fire, Ice, or Wind are the preferred elements at these levels, in that order, unless you prefer using Bibilan to level up, in which case, just Wind...note the EXP to HP ratios suck balls there if you don't use the special instance dungeon).

----

Lord Knight ...three paths: Clashing Spiral (Dragon Breath, Auto-Attack, and Ignition Break, but it's single target), Bowling Bash (Ignition Break and Auto-Attack non-Crit), and Auto-Attack (clearly...Auto-Attack, though if you're not getting crit, you could just use this to save SP for an IB build).

Now, I would say you COULD consider spear skills, but good spears aren't available, and Bowling Bash, despite that it's still buggy (improved, but there's another missing patch we need that I'm uncertain whether it was part of the last massive update), is still WAY more powerful most of the time, or just slightly stronger.  Later updates actually improve Brandish Spear to a point where I prefer it to Bowling Bash for damage output (they're about equal whenever we get that update).

This is where I will still recommend Eden gears, as unfortunately, the available options on Ragial are rather sparse, and certain options are a tad overpriced.

1) Clashing Spiral is not functional with eden gears...at all. Best option for 2h Swords available right now?  Two-Handed Sword (store bought)...Krasnaya would be the best option, but it isn't available.  Nor is the Atroce Weapon.  Spears would be Hunting Spear -> Cardo -> Poll Axe -> Hellfire -> Brionac -> Lance -> Crescent Scythe, in that order of value and for spears that are worth the investment at this time that you can equip at some decent level.

 - Unfortunately, for special weapons, only the Crescent Scythe is available (not fantastic CS damage, especially given the cost per usage, but workable and will get you through to level 90 fairly competently)...level requirement is 48, and base attack is decent at 180.  Not really worth the 40m, since it's a slotted version (if you were making a crit Royal Guard...then yeah, that's a FANTASTIC weapon for an auto-attack/Holy Cross Paladin).

 - If you're going this route, I recommend the Lance.  If you're getting Dragon Breath, this would be a good match for spear skills, so you can still use Brandish Spear for AoE damage.  It's easier to use, and more consistent than Bowling Bash, just not as spammable or damaging.

2) Bowling Bash can be used with whatever your strongest weapon is, so feel free to pick anything you want on the market you can equip as an LK at whatever level you check.  Just don't spend money on something like an Axe you'd only use temporarily.  Eden Gear will get you all the way through to RK quite sufficiently if you haven't prepped a 2h Sword (or Ignition Break Sword).

 - Optimal preparation if you're going Ignition Break, is to get a red Twin Edge of Naught Sieger (level 75), which is on the market, but for 200m, due to its Malangdo bonus being designed for crit builds.  Not worth the investment.  There's likely to be something else popping up at some point down the line.

 - Go either for a Two-Handed Sword from the NPC shop if you're not able to get the best Eden gear, though trust me, the Eden weapon is by FAR the best option here, so just use whatever it is, to level 99 and RK.

 - Huh...there's a +10 Crimson Sabre on the market, for 200m (about right in terms of value, but you'd have to want to bring this thing up to +15 to make it actually worth your time...a +7 or 8 Red Twin Edge is definitely superior in damage, but at +12, and especially +15, the Crimson is pretty tight).

3) Auto-Attack has no decent options on the market for optimal gear.  Literally, nothing.  Not even Crimson weapons.  So it's Eden Gears, and only Eden gears until something pops up.  For the best, as this isn't particularly useful.

====

Unfortunately, due to certain differences in how equipment attack is handled, the Crimson Weapons are so-so ok, as their base-line stats are terrible.  Though no Crimson is worth using with CS, and there isn't any spear available for Brandish spamming at high damage.

The only real option for long-term (level 70+ as a Knight and an LK, and could be worth your time if you're willing to invest a LOT of money, not your in-game money, but real money...doubtful it's not really worthwhile going +15...a +12 Red Twin is superior for Ignition Break on iRO).  Is the Crimson Sabre.  Though again, if you wait things out, more options will be made available.

Defense isn't worth investing in until you're like 150+ and in Biolabs and running instances left and right, though RO and defense since Renewal is finicky.  PD is awesome, magic defense is great, but it's, if you haven't learned it yet, all about % reductions from cards (Demon race like Khalitzburg in a shield, all monsters like a Hodremlin in a shield, or Deviling...or the various special armours that reduce damage from particular types or all neutral or special properties...).

The sad reality is 1b will not get you optimal gears of any kind in armour.  The only thing I'll mention, again, is the Black Ribbon, though at +9 for Ignition Break.  They may not be up for sale now, but they will be at some point when people start returning in higher numbers...maybe (Gravity isn't exactly advertising Renewal is back...I actually only found out by checking the main Warpportal site on a whim, today).

The beauty of Ignition Break is that there are other gears you can get through the game that offer high damage boosts, at level 170+ (So Black Ribbon -> Old Rune Circlet...and the utterly insane enchantments you can get on the ORC).  So that's one thing to think about.

Dragon Breath is locked behind a paywall.  You'd need about 1b for optimal armour, 1b for optimal headgear, 1b for optimal weapon, then another 1b for optimal garment, and the rest is money spent on enchants on the garment and special in-game instance/quest won gear that have enchants for decent accessories (optimal means another 2b).

Ignition Break is easier to get up and running by a long-shot, as you've a range of gear options and card options so long as you have a +9 Black Ribbon and +9~12 red Twin Edge.

I guess that's all I have to say.  I would

What should I buy for leveling gear from 2nd to 141+ playing Kight ATM.

you could IB/BB when RK, just +9 Black Ribbon and a good weapon, usually +9 RTE and shield with racial elemental cards, no need to upgrade the shield. if it allures you to continue as physical RK check link below.

https://forums.warpp...e-knight-guide/

otherwise go DB RK but its hard at low level since you need a decent gears at start.

at below level 100, just auto atk or become a puller and join party at TI to make the life easier. eden gears would do :)

Ive been digging this forum for some days now to find some ideas on what leveling gears should I invest to. I really appreciate the replies. I was relying most on item descriptions I see in market and google these past few days. I bought a +9 Magician Knit Hat, it might be a waste but I really enjoy the unlimited SP at low levels.

I'm still undecided on what leveling weapon should I buy for BB. I already bought 3 hunter fly cards (I saw unusually low price at shopping board ). Im planning to put it on a VF or a +7 Red TENS. Im not sure if it worth to go more than + 7 but as Ignasia said it might be worth it.

Again thanks for the answers especially to Ignacia's long and detailed comment.

for BB knight, the headgear called Catherina Von Blood makes you unlimited SP, for weapon any upgrade Crimson Two Handed Sword would be good, holy for undead/ shadow/ghost or fire for earth elements. If you have VF and wanted to try hunter fly, consider the armor called Evil Dragoon Armor.

once pass lvl 100, most classes usually AoE for faster leveling, in regards to RK, you have IB/BB or DB skills.
