Well, when I open setup (as administrator), it only appears direct 3d, direct 3d & hal, intel hd graphics (1), intel hd graphics (2) and no more options.

I have a nvidia GTX1650 and I've tried all the solutions posted on forums. I also configured my lap in order to my nvidia be my global configuration with no changes.

help me pls.

When you mentioned you reconfigured your laptop to switch to the dedicated GPU, do you mean by Nvidia control panel - Manage 3D settings preferences?

Assuming you are on Windows 10, there's also a setting under Display to manage Graphic settings in terms of performance, which can be used to switch between integrated and onboard.

I am not sure ><, did you restart your device just in case?

You may want to look into further settings appropriate to your device. Perhaps through the BIOS if software settings are not effective.

It seems to be a problem when using newer graphics cards, since newer ones have dropped support for DirectX 8 and 9. I've seen duct tape solutions out there like using dgVoodoo to get older programs to recognize a new graphics card, but it just gets a bit too messy in my opinion.

RO runs fairly decently on older GPUs, yes. Also it is not really needed to use the dedicated GPU but it depends on the user's preference.

Personally, using Direct3D HAL and it is doing fine performance wise. If you wish to give that another go.
