By another player. I have already reported the player. He knew exactly what he was doing too. As soon as he got the item he teleported away.

If you had competition for mvp and got the MVP sign it doesnt mean you have loot priority. If you are saying you had no comp tried to pick up the loot and someone else took your stuff then that sucks too.

Gotta be ready purchasing those greed scrolls when mvping. Those mvp pick up item duration timers really suck especially when you got frozen then suddenly random ppls walk by then picked the item up then tele.

Sorry for your loss, man. I know how infuriating it is when someone's just camping nearby, either hiding behind something or using Hide/Cloaking while you finish off an MVP. You finally kill it, rejoice, and all of a sudden, the jerk is picking off the loot under your nose. S/he vanishes just as fast.

 

As far as looter enemies go, just make sure you wipe 'em out before the MVP drops its items. The annoying thing about looting enemies like Kukres or Porings is that once their item "buffer" is full, they'll start destroying the oldest looted item in order to make room for the new one they just looted. So if the oldest item a Kukre looted was a Drake Card and it's hold capacity is full, the card will be destroyed once it loots another item, like an Jelopy or something.

wrong. if kukre looted like random as crap and is full then the next item lets say it dropped a mvp card and that particular kukre looted it, it deletes the card and everything else that it swallows

Well if u kill the mvp ppl cant take the loots for few sec.. u got time to pick them.
Maybe u kill mvp but other ppl give the most demage to mvp+first hit than i think thats he stuff

I had to re-read your comment a few times to understand it, but please correct me if I'm wrong here: let's say a Poring reached its maximum capacity for looting, but then loots another item - like a Stem - the Poring will keep what it's already holding, but the Stem will be destroyed. In other words, enemies that are at full item capacity will destroy any item they loot after that. Is this correct?

I had to re-read your comment a few times to understand it, but please correct me if I'm wrong here: let's say a Poring reached its maximum capacity for looting, but then loots another item - like a Stem - the Poring will keep what it's already holding, but the Stem will be destroyed. In other words, enemies that are at full item capacity will destroy any item they loot after that. Is this correct?

yes u are correct. once the poring its at full capacity, whatever item comes next that he looted will be destroyed

Alright, cool. All these years, I've always thought it was the way I described it previously.

The issue was that I was trying to loot gear that was allocated to me, but there was so much other trash loot and the other player was standing in the middle of the pile that I couldn't pick up the knife that was mixed in with all of the other crap. I looted one of the knives and an Elu that dropped, but I couldn't get the rest due to the insanely low time to loot window in the game. I have since stopped farming Phreeoni as I am tired of having issues in looting what I have earned.

I was the MVP and this other player only showed up during the last 3 seconds of me fighting the monster.

Just because you are the MVP does mot mean you have loot priority.....
