All melee skills go through defense as well I believe. Not just traps. Traps just suck because they have a set amount of damage. Really it's no different than a skill spamming Zerker IMO.

nope most skills has been fixed not to go through defense and zerks skills never did go through defense, only skill i can remember right now going through defense is moonlight beam from commie (the shooting one), it is different to zerk, cos lets say prot or commies with good defense can pown zerk but no one can do anything at all to reduce the dmg from avengers traps

idk in s1, but in s2 all poison skills of sins went thru defense so they were killing ports/commies like butter -.-

then most sins qqed when it has been fixed but they still own now, anyways avengers will cry when traps wont go through defense too, but it needs to be balanced well, i.e 1 stat increasing the dmg, either long range or short range dmg should increase traps dmg too + skill critical additional dmg, then defense could affect them. someone should post it in suggestions but im too lazy
