Another Easy Anti-Cheat error. 

"Game Security Violation Detected"

All this Anti Cheat does is detect when Humans want to play this game. I see bots having no issues, even being logged in while we were forced out. Anti-Cheat system is not good at all.



Any fixes to this constant issue? An error a day might just send me packing..

This is what I tried, to troubleshoot. Doesn't work for me. I disabled everything I possibly could that this program could think is a "Security Violation". I am out of ideas, for this, everyday an error so far. I just can't login and I have VIP active at the moment. Is VIP time based on when im in game or the day I used the item?

Anyone have other ideas?

Solution:
Due to compatibility issues, the following applications will cause the error:

  • RGB lights
  • LDplayer
  • Peace Equalizer
  • Hyper-V
  • VM

To resolve, disable or uninstall the application.
Note: The listing is not limited to said applications, it will likely grow as we get more reports.
 
Additional information, we have seen so far sometimes the error may pop up randomly, likely due to outdated drivers so do the following:

  • Ensure Windows is up to date. (CHECK)
  • Graphic drivers and sound drivers are updated, recommended to be done through their manufacturer websites. (CHECK)
  • AV is up to date, check link below for compatible applications. (CHECK)
  • Problematic applications to EAC are disabled or removed. (CHECK)
  • Game client is up to date. (CHECK)

After a reinstall;

I am currently sitting here disabling things one by one in task manager. Then launching Ragnarok each time to see if the error will go away. Reinstall/Restart/Manual Patch/ Geesh. I feel like im working today...

Day 6 error is still here, GM and volunteer just give same support thread. So basically no one is actually resolving the issue. Its still there.

The error is caused by incompatible application to EAC installed on your system, this includes the AV.
Since updating drivers didn't resolve the issue, it may be an application running in the background.

 

Will provide further instructions to generate logs of running process, services and installed applications.

The provided logs then can be sent into a ticket to WP staff and EAC support staff.

 

Step by step to create 2 lists in text files of running processes on your Windows device.
