Hello Renewal, im coming back after several years and im having to start from scratch. Im sure the basics are still FAW and HBP and but im not so sure about accessories, other garments, armor and main weapon. when i last played you basically wanted a DR and raydric Faw with EA enchants and then basic valk armors with elemental armors and stuff like that. with a +1x hurricane fury with like whatever best card for damage you could get. and then the red twin if you wanted a shield and FInally, varient shoes or the temp str shoes with a nice EA on them

 

 

Ive seen the Old Midas Whisper and that s honestly what made me want to come back. are those still around and "available" or is there now a better headgear?

 

what basic gears should i be aiming for in the beginning to help lvl as an early genetic. and finally, what end game gears should i save for, for end game? 

 

i primarily enjoy ETing and tons of MVPing - not lookin to WoE or anything 

 

 

EDIT : Ive seen a ton of new headbands like cylinder and old midas and then some awesome accessories being the chemical gloves. 

 

the best armor we really had back then were just random elemental armors or a valk armor with some int/str - ive seen a lot of lvling guide(s) but what are the best armors and shoes at 175 tryng to max for ET or BBs nowadays.

If you have the funds get a cylinder headband or harvest hat. This gives cart cannon damage and insta cast. Get 120 int and makes leveling much faster.

Gears to aim for are
Thanatos hammer(my personal favorite for leveling) when you hit level 120. Obtainable through a quest instance or purchase from players.
Twin Edge (Red) with EA6 Or any ea enchant you can afford.
Other huge improvements for gear will be either 2x Sapphire Wrists or even better can use 2x Chemical Gloves for accessories.
Or a temporal ring to pair with temp boots.

i saw that the cylinder headband is very expensive and harvester is (or was pre 2 month hault) relatively cheap. itll be a brand new account so no fund as of yet, but i wanted to know what i should shoot for granted i decide to splurge on some KP early just t get started. id lov eto find a harvester early if im able

 

has the faw or temp str boots changed much?

Nope. Faw is still great. Enchant with either EA or spell. Temp str are good too. You can enchant with ea or spell or whatever you'd like.look through the forums they should have some helpful tips and info.

best armors? you could Hero Trade Mail + Brooch of Hero Combo or Dresses like Abyss, Nature etc

imo they are not the best choice

unless you own a gloom card or a tgk. i dont see any reason to go for those armor

n mvping can change to RTE

thanks, ill have to snag me a thanatos and a eda for leeching in ET. ive enjoying back cause theres never a lack of ppl willing to help ^^

Imo hero trade mail+ hero brooch is the best "neutral" gear. Ice fall nature and abyss dress are all insane for there monsters they give bonuses to. So if you want to spend alot and be ready for any monster thrown at you then get all those. But if you want one for the time being to save for the others. EDA for leeching FDA for mvps and Hero trade mail+broch is my favorite.

since the 17.1 update I've been trying the new illusion armor type A and the Saphir OS Weapon. So far the +11 +15%EA Saphir OS outperformed my +15 Crimson mace by quite a lot. The armor provides a ton of ATK, and I'm trying to get 2 Atk Modules + 1 Delay module. IMO should be a tad better than HTM. Since you can use the extra accessories slot for PDM or Chemical Gloves.

Im just coming back after about 10 months break. what are the type A and saphir OS weaponss? or where can i check whats new for genetic?

Saphir Hall OS weapon is very good weapon. It can be obtained easily if you have a lot of chars that can do illusion 17.1 quest, as usual you have to refine and card it plus you can enchant it by spending 1m for every enchant try.

I’m using +14 Illusion Armor A with ATK ATK Sharp Shooter on my Gene with +14 Saphir Hall OS ATK+40 LRD 18% and I do about 240k per CC against Big Bells when Buffed, Way More Damage than when I was using HTM+Brooch Combo. However it’s only a little more than using Icefall Dress with Saphir Hall
