I have 99DEX and 99INT on my monk and my cast time is trash af. even with Strings its still terrible. Was it pointless to go casting Monk?.. probably... #regrets

not sure if you know this but not all servers are the same, rule number one before you build your char is to know the server mechanics, your build would work on a classic server, i'm guessing you are on transcendence tho and if you are then your build is a potato.

Yep the not very long cast times of monk skills with fix cast time and the extreme scaling of variable cast time means that there's pretty much no amount of dex or int that you can reasonably get to reduce cast times by any noticeable amount.

And it's deliberate cause instant/near instant cast gfist is kiiiiinda stupid unless it's part of the combo.

Even going as far as disabling all forms of sp recovery after gfist and putting a huge cooldown on it to get people to stop making dedicated gfist builds, you can tell they regret gfist's existence.

Thanks for your guys advice/tip. Guess i'll wait for trans class if ever, and rebuild him.. assuming we'll get RO Zero mechanics.. if not..then probably something useful and not fun for me
