i dont get people complaining about gear getting out of date. Are you new to RPG?

I'm a whale myself, but I don't want any P2W items in this game.  It ruins the game, even for someone like me who spends ridiculous amounts of money on games.

Gear getting out of date is even good for ragnarok, imo. A game in which many people know too much about, the fact that we can shake things up for a bit every once in a while is good.  

 

Thank you WP team for putting these items as monster drops. I wish you guys would write this up on patch notes to avoid people getting panic over nothing! Hah.

There isn't any.. yet.  At the beginning of this thread, apparently the new hats being tested on Sakray are old P2W items from a different version of RO.   I'm just voicing my disdain towards P2W items, doesn't mean that they are implementing them.   The hats were confirmed by a blue that they were going to be monster drops so everybody has a chance of getting them

@camp , what kind of monster do they drop? if you're going to say normal monster then you just put a bait to the bots and encourage them to make massive to get those headgears, if boss or fever field boss then thats acceptable , please answer with details next time...

Might as well put in special instances. Dont put the hats as event rewards as newcomers won't have a chance to farm and will be forced to buy at an overpriced tag.

Also if field monsters just drop these hats, then its gonna a be good news for bots. Bots gonna bot all the way. Though it might be good to keep it cheap for everyone.

It was made known previously in this thread that it's Fever Fields drop I believe.   Read the thread lol

Not going to defend warpportal, but the OBB/OPB change was in patch notes, this is why people should read them and stay informed, yes it would have been nice if this change was stated from day one in some from of list of changes to come or some sort.

It really hasn't been said much about

nor if they will be the same effects or received some kind of modification

 

I think that if they are the same effects they should be extremely difficult to obtain

are very OP equipment so that they can be achieved with such ease
