I am a bit curious on the damage and defense difference between using 3AKs in RTE and Alice in Shield, and 3 White Knightage in RTE and  Khaliztburg Knighrage in Shield. Does the latter set outperform the former set?

 

Former:                                                                                            Latter:

Damage 3 x 25% (AK card) = 75% damage (on boss)                    Damage 3 x 20% = 60% damage (if worn with Khalitzburg Knighrage will add 15% addtl                                                                                                                                   damage each or just once regardless of no. of cards?)  if once, total damage is 75%, if                                                                                                                         adds 15% per card, total is 105% damage.

Defense 40% (Alice Card) defense from boss                                 Defense 25% (KK Card) defense from Boss (medium and large) will add 5% damage reduction

                                                                                                                         if worn with WK Card. so it will add 30%. What if there are WK cards, 5% x 3? so it                                                                                                                               will be 40% damage reduction?

 

Ideas? :)

Interpret Set Bonus as a "Does item exist?" question that does not take into account how many of those items exist. It's a simple yes or no.
So I think it should look like this:

Set A (3 AbysmalKnight + 1 Alice)
Dmg = 25% x 3 = +75% (boss only)
Dmf Reduc = 40% (boss only)

Set B (3 WhiteKnight + 1 KhalitzburgKnight)
Dmg = 20% x 3 + 15% set bonus = +75% (medium & large only)
Dmg Reduc = 25% + 5% set bonus = 30% (medium & large only)

Ah thanks for pointing that out.

 

So hmm, if we already have a lot of ATK % modifier.. its probably better to use 3x WK for size multiplier instead.  :wub:

Around 40% spread across all multipliers will give you optimal results, but limit your target range.

@sigma01 hello i read that you said Contaminated can be given by npc after each mvp kills but it given me coag spell only also, no contaminated dropped by the mvp i killed earlier pls fix this bug, just wasted my time for nothing : ( also if the contaminated isnt 100% dropped pls put the drop rate here ty!

Amdarais seems to heal too often. My first run on GX went great. Second run, I got him down to 15% then he kept healing within less than a min intervals. Is he suppose heal that often?

Not sure but he healed twice when I first tried it on my gene. 7.7m each time.

 

I was cringing so hard when he did. It was like just a dot left before he dies and then bamn, heals again.

Cus you didnt do it with your GX. You would kill him before he even had a chance to heal. Or did it happen to your GX too? Seems like people who cant nuke hard enough will suffer from this heal mechanism.

I see. So either wreck Amdarais in the first 10 secs before reflect activates or do less than 1M dmg for the rest of the fight. My GX not strong enuff to do 40M in 10 secs. *feels shame*

Not sure at wich point he starts to use those, but it's most certainly one of the instance "triggers", like the Stephan mechanics.

From the ones we have on iRO so far, it looks like MVPs get stuck into completing one trigger mechanic before moving to the next one, so high dps at certain phases may skip them?
Need to confirm that, i only have vague memories of doing sky fortress and having the EQ spawns a bit slower because i'd start bursting him when it announced the prior mechanic. It gave me like a 15ish seconds leeway until EQs would appear.
