We need removal of fixed cast times or a way to reduce fixed cast time through gears. These exist in renewal, not to make an ability stuck at a certain cast time, but to force you to sacrifice a damage gear for the cast time reduction. It's a trade off in gear usually.

 

We currently do not have any of the renewal gears and probably won't get any for a VERY long time. This results in many abilities with absurd cast times for their practical use. Guillotine Fist is minimum 2 seconds long, if not more and many other abilities are just impractical to use. 

 

The zero changes coming up fix SOME of these. (mainly wizard cast times) but do not fix all, (like Guillotine Fist or Acid Bomb in the future). 

 

I think we need fixed cast time reduction enchants as a possibility at a MINIMUM, but the easier approach is to remove these for now. If the server is truly going to end up with 3rd classes where Sacrament (Archbishop skill) becomes a thing, and all the renewal gear exists we can re introduce them then, but please remove them in the mean time. It's really killing many key WOE abilities like Magnetic Earth (Sage) and Guillotine Fist as mentioned.
