Noob question but i currently have each but only seem to be getting items from galapago (hunting ant hell so lots of kills) havnt gotten a single gift box or OBB.

 

Am i just unlucky ? playing RO:T if that makes a difference

As far as i know getting a Gift box via Mystcase card is 0.3% while obtaining Old blue box from mimic card is 0.1%. Those coding drop rate can be found from RMS Item Script. Thats % actually close to rare items / card drops. So its indeed hard to obtain them.

I'm pretty sure they can work together because I've used both mimic and myst case at the same time before.

Those 2 just have really low drop rates as mentioned by EdwardEg above ^^
