since server is back, making a party in low TI is impossible. So many old players are using this to earn zeny for "leech" leveling with expensive prices that new players can't pay. we have to remember low TI is the best way to don't feel tedious the game in low levels, and they can't pay those prices for free experience. 

 

It's time to end those bad practices and find solutions. In the context of coronavirus, the best way to attract new players is "Jumping Janeway" leveling and some kind of "festival" or "event" with nice headgear. This will break the abusive players who collect money from low level players. 

 

My suggestion about a new headgear is something with bonus using "orange" and "orange juice" (SP and HP healing items) to help new players in the levels over 99.

there are lots of option here, party with friends since this is mmorpg, bounty boards or even the old school grinding. those folks need zeny and if you can afford their service go ahead. as for healing headgears you have plenty of options too but you need zeny for those items xD

Selling timed leech services for zeny isn't really illegal btw.

And for sure, new sp gear won't actually get rid of those players. It could potentially make more of them appear in fact.


Odd question, but aren't free leeching services present in Chaos as well?
I know atleast 2-3 people here on Thor who'd help leech people in TI for free if you ask properly. They'd be more likely to help when the monsters in TI have desirable drops too.

Low TI parties are possible, and are still being formed. Try logging on at a different time or bringing friends to help.

 

The assumption that only new players are paying for those leeching services is also false. At least some will be older players simply making a new character.

 

Players can't "pay those prices for free experience"? If they are paying, then the experience is not free. They worked or contributed to the game to get that money, and they can spend it as they wish. Nobody is entitled to free experience. We all paid for it in some way.

 

I would argue that Jumping Janeway actually reduces the player population. Many people already have maxed characters. Janeway makes leveling so easy that people will reach max level, get bored, and quit. Is that what you want?

 

If you are over level 99, by the way, you aren't a new player anymore. What are you still doing in low TI, except maybe getting more job levels?

 

If there were no market for leeching services, they wouldn't exist. If nobody wanted to pay these supposedly expensive prices, why would those players waste their time offering the service? Clearly they are getting enough customers to justify the effort of setting up the chat and waiting on the map. If you don't like it, nobody's forcing you to pay for them. There's nothing abusive about the practice. The market alone can regulate the prices leechers charge. If anyone feels the prices are too high, nobody's stopping them from offering their own leveling service at a lower price.

Janeway doesn't attract new players.

Janeway barely benefits new payers, it bumps their level up to a point where they have to deal with monsters they are not prepared for.

Janeway only aids veterans/estabilished players in making armies of alt characters.
