So if for example I am support priest using HE Battle Manual I don't kill monster but just support the killer and the killer character doesn't use HE Battle Manual.
Will I get the % additional exp boost from the manual? OR Even the VIP for that matter?

exp modifiers apply to the portion of exp you receive.
Monsters killed split their chart exp values to the players in party.
