So how are the combinations Twilight gave possible? +20% Aspd, +10 Crit, +20% Crit Damage, +40 Attack? Or -20% VCT, -30% ACD, +20% Max SP, -20% SP Consumption, +60% EXP gain? 

 

Basically those are 3 songs with 2 characters?

 

i dont know about the song bonus combo, but he meant 1 song per type.

 

1bard song 1dancer dance?? lastly an ensemble

Been playing around a bit more on sakray.

> It seems like the 20-Hit dmg of LoV is only applied at the start only. Any monsters that wander into the AoE afterwards don't take damage anymore unlike with the old version.
Will this mean recasting LoV again (like SC with shadowspell) apply a new set of dmg or will monsters remain immune?
But I didn't have enough time to test that.

Saw Wiz of Truth still used old LoV mechanics

Yes, it's one bard buff, one dancer buff, and one ensemble.

 

So for example:

 

Set 1:

Bard: +20% Aspd (Impressive Riff)

Dancer: +10 Crit, +20% Crit Damage (Lady Luck)

Ensemble: +40 Attack, +75 Defense (Battle Theme)

 

Set 2:

Bard: -20% VCT, -30% ACD (Magic Strings

Dancer: +20% Max SP, -20% SP Consumption (Gypsy's Kiss)

Ensemble: +60% EXP gain (Mental Sensing)

Someone thought as same as you and replaced MS with LoV then went to leveling in Illusion of Under Water

BTW. it's hard to tell if dmg from different LoV overlapped.

Anyone can confirm the penalty duration of ensemble skills?

10 seconds or 30 seconds?

it's hard to tell if dmg from different LoV overlapped.

 

Tested some more on live servers.

 

I guess you can say it overlaps; additional dmg gets applied with every cast. Screenshot below shows 3 different bundles of damage and 3 different recent casts for LoV on the zoomed-in skillbar.

Since there's only 1 bundle of dmg (with 20 hits) each cast, the autocast playstyle is kinda similar to autocast with Heaven's Drive, but with way more numbers.

 

It's really fun to combo with frost nova/freezing gear too lol

Guess it makes sense they can overlap now.

Before it had a persistent ground effect until the spell ended and that was how it it applied multiple bundles of damage, and why enemies dragged into it mid animation would still receive part of the damage.

Since it just dumps it all in one hit now there's not much need for the persistent effect.

This also makes the long animation less of a liability since you'll no longer have wandering enemies brushing into it at the end of the animation, take a smidge of damage and beeline for the fragile mage.

 

Basically it's the thunderstorm spell turned up to 11.

%vct reduction from strings is skill type reduction so it no longer stack additively with %vct reduction from equipment and enchants.

btw it stacks additively with Suffragium.

So strings + Suffragium = 40 %vct (skill type).

checking on new .exe received on Sakray, Soul Destroyer EDP interaction got fixed there

 

Just tried Sakray and it was up. And it seems:

  1. FAS base scaling not yet fixed.
  2. Performers's buff skills has no buff icons yet.
  3. Assumptio and Basilica has no buff icons yet too.
  4. Eucharistica is actually in the 3rd job tab and not in misc. tab.

Pretty sure it was always hit based. Didn't know about def pierce. 

 

edit: apparently, from what Ashuckel says, only the weight part was def piercing back in pre-re.

well, the new one certainly works the same way as kRO now. Old Clashing definitely does not miss by the way.

is there any logs on it to refer to, or isit just to fix the current skills update bugs?

The only things I know is that SD was fixed and FAS is still not fixed, at least as of yesterday.
