on the guide i didn't see jupiter ring but in discussion people mentioned it

It's so you CAN opt to use a Jupiter Ring, remember, Phree Wings give 200 hit. You would need 200 Dex to supplement, or 100 dex and various other items to increase hit. There aren't many pieces of equipment that offer much in terms of extra damage in that slot honestly.

Hey. I noticed you are able to 1 shot most of the MVP in the video using route 1. I have the same stats and same exact gears you suggested but those mvp u posted I still am not able to 1 shot. Also, did you use a elemental converter with ifrit? I noticed you didn’t switch ur fire weapon.

Is there any shadow gears you would recommend getting with route 1?

Also, with route 1. Instead of adding Luk, is it okay to add more str/agi/vit? I don’t understand why we are adding luk since it’s MA build and we aren’t actually hand attacking them with crit.

The Luk there is not for critting. He added points in Luk so that the build would benefit if it opted to use Ring of Jupiter. (http://db.irowiki.or...tem-info/32258/).
Other benefits from Luk would include: Additional Atk, Hit Rate, PDodge and some status resistance.

You can tweak your stat build whichever works for you. It all depends on the equipment you have, your playstyle etc. This is just guide, feel free to deviate if you think it would be better for your build.

was discussing with a friend and he came with an argument that  rte wasn't the better weapon for the main hand, and aguerd for vicious mind dagger, because of its raw dmg when refined plus drake enchant, i counterargued it until he talked about the fact that vm dagger is neutral and rte is fire, i'd like to know what you think of it

**some quick edit, made a mistake by not checking first.. elemental % comes in same slot as drake effect so its worse, i made corrections to text below already**

i put ur q into my calculator on 2 of the best builds, one without megs/mvp and one with megs/mvp. 

 

On both, I put RTE +15 with 3 WK against a +15 vicious mind dagger ([WK] with perfect enchant (drake effect, 20% boss damage, 50atk). On the no meg build, RTE deals 16.6M damage while the dagger deals 15.1M damage. On the meg version RTE deals 25M damage while vicious mind deals 22.2M. Both are targetting hard amdarais, which is a large sized monster.

 

So no, vicious mind is not a better weapon. I have already put in the best enchants possible.

 

Element is not a relevant discussion btw. The only advantage comes from being holy element since its a cash shop converter or a pain in the ass to keep up with miracle rose. Other elements are basically all same due to the easy access of cheap converters. Also, holy element for the dagger comes in the same slot as drake, so you can't have both.

 

If you ask me why, i'm just going to sum it up to the power of having slots for WK cards. Right now we are at a point where RTE is the best due to the high baseatk and 3 slots, but if future we get some sort of another +300-400atk somewhere else, possibly valk knife x2 can be even stronger than RTE just for the slots.

He's right you know. The guide is just a general idea, a White Knight Card will give a lot more over an AK because GX rolls with so much Atk% you could poke a stick at it.

 

If you can be bothered, stick a WK Card or 2, 3 max; never, go above 3.

 

Ultimately, things die fast anyways so the choice is forever yours :U

Vicious was better on AKs but TENS is better with WKs

Does 20% damage MA from cakram[2] do anything good?

yes, it does 20% more damage i use a +9 chakram 2x hunterfly FS6 Agi5 on my lower level GX until i can equip the thanatos i have

your damage will be enough if you play GX, you could use crap weapon and still do alot.

but 20% is a nice boost, i hav no problems with my chakram im doing 120k at lvl 112

i was told stacking AK's like 7 or 8 times will decrease it's efficiency.

im just gonna stick to katar until i really know whats going on with stacking AKs

it's not decreasing its efficiency per se. It's just less effective than combining with other kinds of boost. Its been the case forever in RO since atk is a case of compounding different % gains. If you have 8 AK for example, its a 200% gain, so your atk is 300% of normal. If you use 4AK and 4 racial cards, it is 360% instead. In the past its just not worth having so many different racial weapons, but now 1 WK weapon represents all those racial weapons.

 

Katar is a far weaker option than stacking WK+AK on a dual wield GX for MA. You're missing out on the advantages of being a GX in the first place (having 2 weapons with many slots instead of 1) when your skill isn't tied to a katar.

i saw you saying wk is better than ak, but in the img you posted you're only using 2 wk and 1 ak on rte, and in fact putting 2aks on the knife why?

Not sure, but probably a Seyren Windsor Card.

There's only like a few usable headgear cards; Cruel Coelacanth, Engkanto, Seyren Windsor, status immunity cards, Dark Ping. All depends on your preferences. I personally put Maya Purple for Bio5. I don't want any surprises there.

With the exception of Engkanto in very specific cases, there isn't much that's all that powerful. I'd go for utility/convenience over the few points of damage you can get out of it.

I have been playing for month and half RO for first time and was hoping for some advice wont be spending much money soon but i would like to know what my goals should be

Your goal is to level first. CVB is a good hat for easy leveling. It synergies with OHKO skills like MA.You can get yourself a Royal Guard Shield for more atk that is for end level. You've already mentioned the important parts- the cards. So good luck leveling.
