Hello Everyone I have not played RO since classic before renewal came out and saw this new server so I joined up.

I did not see much resources for transcendence. My question is as a new assassin should I be going for double dagger or katar starting out. I do not know the economy idk if its feasible to attempt to go crit katar build as the equips I need might be out of reach. Can I get a vets thoughts on this dilemma? If need be I can start with daggers then change build at a later time when i hit cap or something. Also with recent skill balance update is venom splasher  and sonic blow worth using more? I guess if I wanted to use sonic blow I would need to invest in dex?

 

Also if you can point me to a stat allotment I should go for would be nice.

Katar is always cheap and better for new player since it's easy to achieve high crit rate (Especially useful now with Critical Double Attack).

 

Double Dagger will achieve higher damage output but would require substantial amount of zeny.
